      to be honest it really depends on the depth, if the depth is higher it might have found the winning move, and sometimes when there is mate in 1, if the engine depth is really low (like 1), then it wont see mate in 1

    Stockfish is a strong engine and is always right. However, this is all just an illusion

    I wonder is it possible to have a series of multiple "blunders" (according to the engine) which is actually the best variation ?
    I feel like it would be way harder to find than a series of brilliant moves...
    like how hard is ig to find a position were you need to "blunder" three times (not forcibly in a row) to win ?

    Once again made my day with an amazing puzzle
    1. you make the engine look like a complete illusion
    2. you somehow win with bishop vs queen
    3. it really shows how humans>engines in understanding things like zugzwang
    4. I got better at solving these things, but I missed out on the zugzwang bh6 however regardless a brilliant puzzle as always.

      @@nikolaypanov8159 the position is definitely possible since to move the pawns like that you only need to take 5 pieces so black could’ve lost 4 minors and a rook to pawns that just so happened to end up like that. It is however pretty unrealistic but realism in a puzzle with this kind of zugswang is kinda hard to ask for.

    I love the content but I'm astonished that engines have trouble with this. I spotted c4+ -> Bc7+ / Bf6# right away. The deeper line Bh6 wasn't hard to spot and the only move that I hesitated on was the temporizing h4 but again not hard to find... there's kind of a mutual zugzwang building as this puzzle develops and and everything you do it simplifies the number of possible moves.

    • @filippocamana3472
      @filippocamana3472 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Zugzwangs are so satisfying...

    • @riluna3695
      @riluna3695 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I absolutely love the idea of them. Though there is one thing that's always confused me. If Zugzwang exists and the opponent doesn't have the option of passing their turn, and thus MUST make a move even if it's ultimately a bad one...then why does Stalemate result in a draw instead of a win? If the same logic applied, then the ruling would be that no matter where the enemy King moves, it would be captured next turn, and thus that player wins. But instead it's counted as a draw, presumably on the assumption that the opponent pulls a Sans and just refuses to end their turn. Why the discrepancy? Is it to add to the tactical nature of the game, allowing players to force draws from what would otherwise be a losing position? That's about all I can think of that makes sense.

    Before you tell the solution at least tell us whose turn it is to make the move, in videos that you don't it becomes a forced move where I have to analyze both for black and white before I listen to your solution.
