Snakefinger live at The Stone, San Francisco (March 15th, 1981)

Rare bootleg of Snakefinger playing a show in San Francisco on his Greener Postures tour. This was Snakefinger's final show in the US before his world tour (which would be cut short after a handful of dates due to a heart attack on the first Australian date). This show was before he started working with Eric Drew Feldman. It also has a rare performance of 'The Vivian Girls.' This is the only recording of him playing it that I've heard, but hey, I haven't heard every Snakefinger recording.

Philip was a true genius, my all time favourite guitar player. The biggest tragedy to modern music was his passing. I wish he had a bit more recognition in the populas of today cause the music of snakefinger is truly so so fucking original and fantastic.
