Lene Marlin's "Unforgivable Sinner" from her album "Playing My Game" with lyrics. This video is blocked in the following locations: Canada, Montenegro, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Serbia
*_I remember that time in 1999 after school I collected money a little by little at a time to buy a cassette LENE MARLIN first album Playing My Game. I always kept her album in my bag everyday went to school inside my Walkman(SONY), I wish to meet her one day, just wanna say thank you in personally.. because her music make my day so beautifully when I heard her voice "Sings like an angel, but u can't hear those words"..Unforgivable Sinner => Unforgettable song for me, until my English teacher angry up with me when I asked her about what's the meaning of that words in my language. I love Lene Marlin so much, such a good memory I ever had in my life._*
From the UK here :) 'Playing My Game' was Lene Marlin's only album that did well here, largely because of 'Sitting Down Here' being such a massive single on the UK charts and being a huge radio record, but I preferred this song more. I never knew it was about her sister, how very sad...hopefully she found some personal healing through writing this song. I love that music has that power to change our mood or lift us.
I like it..but yes, that is how a song should be..to share the spirit..maybe we have different story behind everytime we listen to a certain song..but anyway, we listen to the same song..
@HoshinaRima It was dedicated to her younger sister who was involved in a car accident with her boyfriend. The boyfriend survived, but she died, so this song is to honor her :) At least that's what I've heard ^^
Thanks for sharing and thank you lenemarlinlyrics for the upload and also to lene marlin for singing the song So nostalgic I heart you mwah! #old but gold music goals
I loved this singer long ago but it's been a long time i haven't heard this song suddenly i did and i loved it alot and couldn't know who was singing, and i was annoyed but again thankfully i heard it again and now i knew why i loved it alot. her voice & her feminism is soft & sweet as cream & honey. Love u Lene❤
All' uscita di questa canzone avevo 11anni.. Dedicavo questa canzone alle mie fidanzatine.. Senza sapere nè significato nè titolo della canzone.. Bei tempi, bellissimi ricordi.. Col brivido!
+Dewdrops Ghlaiel That place is real. I had to let an angel go, who lives in a place of unbelievable darkness. I had no choice, but to forgive myself for this is the hardest thing that I have ever done.
+J.E. Schoon Forgive urself, and keep hope, Regretting is may be enough!! we cannot do everything right sometimes but at least we try to be after !!! wish u all the best
@HoshinaRima She wrote this song for her little sister who died in a car accident. It was her boyfriend who was driving, he lived but hte sister died...
Oh, right, I hadn't seen the music video. :3 Now that I watched it, your expalation makes perfect sense. (And your English is not bad, at least not for me: I'm a Finn. :D)
@0oLenaaao0 She wrote it in memory of her sister who died in an car accident. Her boyfriend was reli driving dangerously...& he survived but her sis died.. :(
@HoshinaRima She wrote it in memory of her sister who died in a car accident. Her boyfriend was driving reli dangerously...& he survived but her sis didn't.. :( *I got this from a comment on the official vid...*
I think it's an autobiographic song...I mean, she talks about "an angel" who "sings"! she's the angel, and she's recalling to her mind a bad moment spent because of her boyfriend...saying at the end the fact of hitting the ground, well it doesn't matter it's a suicide! she speaks about an unforgivable sinner...she had a disappointment in love, surely!
It's about depression, guilt and trauma. It's about a girl who ended her days because of a boy who broke her heart. The unforgivable sinner is the one causing her that fatal pain.
Dido and Lene Marlin’s songs are pure nostalgia ❤️
Music in the 90s were just something else.... Wish we could have them back.
Ascolto ancora oggi 2020 . Che volata di ricordi che porta questa canzone, l'infanzia ai tempi senza tecnologia 😍
Con il nastro pronto a registrare non appena la canzone veniva trasmessa in radio
