I agree....have been asking for this! You explain everything really well. I get my seltos pluton blue hopefully in 3 was and I am so excited! CAN'T WAIT Thanks again for making this video.
@sunitjoshi3573 I'm getting between 30 and 32 mpgs. In sport mode the power is good off the line or passing. Even normal mode it doesn't feel sluggish. Drives smooth. Love it so far.
I just got one 2 weeks ago. I coudn't find any better deals near me than $32k for this car . I was in a car accident and my old 15 year old Jetta SE was totaled. I live alone and my friends were not available to take me to dealearships. I had no choice but to go near where I live to get a new car. My insurance only paid rental for 5 days since it was totaled. I would have spent more on rental and traveling far to get a new car.
no its not a Premium. I just bought one two weeks ago, mine is an EX model but due to dealers doing different packages, you might get the Ex premium wheels on it. Mine doesn't have the power lift gate but came with the cool rims.
Also, all of the lights on the EX premium are LED where as on EX you get the LED daytime running lights but the headlights, and fog lights, as well as the tail blinkers are not.
I bought a Kia in May, and I'm already regretting it. Did you know that after a year, you have to PAY to have updates automatically installed, or YOU have download them to a PC, transfer it to a flash drive, then install them to your vehicle? What kind of BS is this? SOFTWARE> With other, modern SUVs, you do not need to manually update the software every time a new version is available. They now have over-the-air (OTA) update capabilities, meaning the software will automatically download and install itself when connected to Wi-Fi, with the option to usually schedule the update at your convenience. You only need to confirm when prompted on the car's display. ELECTRONIC TRUNK OPENER >Does NOT come standard in a 35k vehicle either?? NOPE! My 2006 Saturn Ion even had one! I will never buy another Kia!
The navigation update that is done twice a year is practically useless. That has actually never came up in the sales process for me in the last 6 years. Personally I’d never buy a vehicle without a lift gate that is automatic, but every buys vehicles differently for style and budget. If the lift gate was an issue I feel that would have come up when you bought the car and maybe the top of the line model which comes with one would have been the better option for you.
@KiaVince Are you seriously suggesting that I should have bought another more expensive version to get an electronic trunk lift? That feature is standard on nearly every vehicle, including 20 year old ones. That's why I never thought to ask about it. My salesman went over everything in this SUV, he just failed to mention these two things. No free software updates after a year, and no electronic trunk lift. I've had 2 back surgeries, so it is a big deal to me. And blowing off navigation updates as if they don't matter? They do matter, and I shouldn't have to pay for them for my vehicle to function properly. I called Kia USA today. They said the updates aren't just for navigation. There is no rhyme or reason with the options installed on Kias. Instead of an electronic trunk lift, they put a valet control? Who needs that? Somebody living in NY? Ridiculous.
@darla6681 I am not suggesting I’m saying that if the car didn’t have the features you wanted why didn’t you get the model that did? If you didn’t ask I’m not seeing a point to why you are on a soap box on my comment section admitting that you didn’t research the vehicle you purchased and now have regrets. Trade it in and get something you actually want. You are not married to that vehicle. The updates are very much navigation based. You are not missing anything.
Just bought this exact car in this exact trim and color. Loving it so far, my first non-sedan I’ve ever owned.
I just bought a 2024 Seltos S. One week now. Smooth quiet ride. By no means fast but I’m good with that.
By far, the best review on the KIA Seltos I've seen yet. Very thorough and helpful!
Thanks 🙏

How do you like it so far and what mileage are you getting? Is the power sufficient for merging?

Does the Kia Soltos include a cargo cover?
Great review. Is this just the EX trim or the EX Premium?
premium - HD radio, power driver seat, etc.

I wish they would not capitalize all the letters. I makes it look like Killed In Acton.
This is Ex premium model 🙄 not Only Ex
Is this the ex premium?
