North Carolina vs. Pitt Full Game Replay | 2023-24 ACC Men’s Basketball

On the road in Pittsburgh, the No. 8 North Carolina Tar Heels pulled away in the 2ndf half on their way to a 70-57 win over the Pitt Panthers. Armando Bacot scored a team-high 16 points, and became the 7th Tar Heel player to surpass the 2,000 point mark in his career. RJ Davis scored 15 points and in the process passed Hubert Davis for 9th all-time in made 3-point field goals at North Carolina. Carlton Carrington scored a game-high 20 points in the loss.

Watching North Carolina not get pushed around and win a physical game in a hostile environment was a breath of fresh air! Given that this team has proven that it can win games multiple ways (Scoring 100 against the #5 team in the country in regulation or trading blows with Pitt) gives me a lot of hope for the potential ceiling of this North Carolina team! Pitt is a tough team and I'm sure they'll bounce back. GO HEELS!

Pitt tried to beat us up but we werent having it. something about beating a Jeff Capel led team was very sweet. although ill admit it looks very odd seeing assistant Jason Capel cheering against the Tar Heels.
