Alabama basketball has been decent the past 4 years. We were number 1 in the country twice the year before this. And if you asked me a diehard Alabama fan I would have said last years team with Brandon miller would have made it to the final four but they didn’t. I had Alabama all the way up until this game aginast North Carolina in my bracket. I just didn’t think they were that good to get past this point. And boy was I happy I was wrong.

Well they always had a good basketball program to wilt sanders the former basketball coach he was good Bama had good players Colin sexton came from Avery Johnson team the former Bama head coach Anthony grant stuff like that it just Nate Orts is that missing key who Bama basketball needed then the players who came there js

The 4OT game in Portland back in November 2022 (Alabama won 103-101) was why I figured this game could have went either way.
As a life long Alabama fan this was by far the happiest I’ve ever been after the game. I was shaking watching it

They've been good since the covid year. All they needed was some tournament success. But they've been pretty good for a good while now.

Bama had a starter out, Oats completely outcoached Davis and the Bama defense shut down Davis the final minute.
