- In this video I show you what it's really like to ride with a pro enduro rider. He is the best hard enduro rider I know for sure and the level of talent between myself and him is insane! We ride the legendary dark side of enduro with steep hills, muddy trails and some hard hill climbs. I had my first ride on a Beta 350 4 stroke, Oh, and I broke my bike trying to do what he does.. Thats some technical riding that takes a toll on you. That stuffs way harder then it looks on camera. You rode well brother 🤙

That brought back some memories of working there all them years ago, it's bigger now I'm sure as the dark side was over the hill past the jet wash stream and over a cattle grid. You looked 10x more comfortable on the 4T. The smooth power delivery gave you way more confidence. I switched last year from a XC to a 500 and you can just do so much more in a single gear. The 250 is amazing in super tight stuff but I think you'd benefit a 4T for sure.

Tip: always stand. You can't load and unload the suspension when sitting down. If its a section you normally would crab walk, keep one foot with all your weight on one peg and lightly push forward with the other, but dont take the weight off the peg foot.

Riding the 450fse for a month now. Some ice and snow, but yesterday was the first full trail ride. It's melted enough and frost is gone. Bypassing water holes, I would have probably turned around with the KLR. I mean the KLR can break a trail but getting stuck because of its weight is a thing, this skinny bike isn't a concern. It's so light. Waiting for new tires✌
True story, riding every day or every weekend is a great mind set. Everything is cured. Best drug ever.

I’m calling it! Your going to either do a race or your going to Romania! But if your in for some good brake and clutch levers I suggest ASV levers! They are foldable to they wind snap when you fall! Saved me so many levers
Three things to help. Which I'm sure you know; Stand-Up, Momentum solves 99% of obstacles and uphill and last, If you don't crash-n-burn, you're not riding hard enough! Wish I places like this.
the ride looks fun as all get out, but the area is awesome as well. Some people don't even realize how lucky they are to ride areas like that

What I always remembered switching from a 2 stroke to a 4 stroke is you gotta DOG the 2 stroke out to keep it up and playful, with a 4 stroke you can just blip it and be at the same level. But 2 strokes hold my heart

damn he looks like a fun guy to ride with, in fact both of yall do. there is an interesting contrast between you two. you are more of a cautious approach kinda guy and he is a lets get it kinda guy. some awesome trails as well. i have a very good place to ride but its nothign like this. 25:10 is so true. i thoroughly enjoy the harder stuff. i enjoy all forms of riding but the enduro is where its at for me.
I just went out for my first weekend away on my new to me 07 crf250r with my best mate whos been riding 2 strokes since he was a kid, i feel the exact same in this vid haha, we were riding old logging tracks in a pine forest very similar terrain to this and he was blazing gears while i was trying to stay upright most the time 😂 2 days of this and i was absolutely wrecked but was an absolute blast
the torque of the bigger 2 strokes are just awesome

The rides through the woods always make me flinch. How easy is it to get impaled on one of those broken branches hanging off the tree?
Honestly if you want an amazing Enduro bike, buy a 2015-2016 Ktm 250.
We bought a brand new 2022 GasGas 250 and kitted it out with absolutely everything, never was as light nimble yet powerfull as those old bikes.
The front is much lighter on those old bikes which drastically improves the handling and also incedible grip when crawling. Much more playfull and far less exhausting to ride than the new ktms.
No past 2016 Ktm ive ever ridden was nearly as nice as this. They probably go for cheap aswell in decent condition

We called this trail riding in the 70s ....in Missouri we rode in the woods.... quarries and old mining sites.
I love the videos and the quality of them however some of the things you find hard piss me off as a 15 year old hard trail rider I do alot of things however I'm aware your beginner

I think he's running a mousse insert on the rear tyre of the Beta by the looks and I also noticed your handlebars on the XC look to be rolled too far fwd the bend should align with the angle of the forks cheers for a good video mate
