I agree for most of this except for when you say "its illegal" bc the character is under 18 or smt but that was in the older times. So take in an example like amane and kagaya, they both had married eachother when amane was 17 but kagaya was 13. Although now it would be illegal back then it wasnt, so some ships like sanekana are completely fine (it had been confirmed that sanemi had a crush on kanae multiple times in the fanbook) but other then that i agree with everything else

I was supposed to comment on this when it was uploaded but here i am now.
I really like her opinion on InoKana, its one of my comfort ships and i really like the fact that Inosuke and Kanao had a sibling relationship.
This part isnt really correcting Muffin but, i think the only time InoKana wouldnt be in a sibling-like way was if Kanao and Aoi's roles were swapped, so Tanjiro would be making Aoi more open and Kanao would be the weak slayer that became a doctor just like in the OG series. And I think in this au, Kanao would marry Inosuke instead of Tanjiro and Tanjiro would marry Aoi.

I don’t even think Kanae was a minor when she died,
She was 17 specifically when she adopted Kanao but she had to have been at least somewhat older when she died. This mainly stems from the fact that in the flashback of the butterfly sisters visiting Kanae’s grave, Kanao looks much older than she did when Kanae was 17. Shinobu having a similar appearance to her 14 year old self in that flashback also makes plenty sense because a part of her character is literally that her stature is short and that her frame is too ‘delicate’ to decapitate demons.
If we presume that Shinobu was her sister’s tsuguko as well, then that means she’d have to ascend to Hashira only a little after Kanae’s death. Keeping this in mind, that means Kanae would have had to died a little bit before Giyuu gaiden and possibly before Giyuu encounters tanjiro. During that time, Shinobu had only recently become a hashira, as mentioned in Giyuu gaiden, meaning she’d be 16 at that time while Giyuu would be 19. Since Kanae also shares that age difference, I think it’d also mean she’d be 19 at the time of her death.
This would also explain more why she’s 21 in kimetsu gakuen/kimetsu academy, because she’s meant to be the same age as Giyuu, Sanemi, and Obanai.
That’s my take on it though.
