in my opinion, I don't think bakudeku is not that bad. YES, a lot, and maybe too many of the people who like the ship go into the TOXIC kind of stuff. I completely understand that Bakugou bullied Deku in middle school, but in high school, he has gone through a lot of character development. There are a lot of good Bakudeku creators out there. Such as butterfly she makes very wholesome content and the type of stuff you don't like about the MHA fandom she doesn't create.

Honestly it's not all kids. I've seen grown woman shipping themselves with bakugo and I think the younger kids just get influenced by that, as someone who used to ship bakugo and deku it was mainly bc I saw other ppl doing it and I thought it was normal. As a MHA fan, it disgusts me tbh. Some ships aren't that bad!! Like ones where they are the same age, not opposites (villain and hero) no sexual interaction and when the character did not hurt/bully the other. The problem with bakudeku is 1) Bakugou told Deku to k!ll himself. 2) Baukgou bullied Deku 3) they are both minors (this only matters when it is a sexual interaction)
Now something that really annoys me is when people say 'oh but Bakugou changed'. Yes, in season 6 we can see Bakugou saving Deku and sacrificing himself. Yes, that does show he may regret it and wants to help Deku but that no excuse to normalise the fact he told him to k!ll himself. Look, this isn't a slander against Bakudeku shippers, its just its not normal or good to ship someone's bully with them. I know Bakugou changed but that does not change his past. Okay I'm going to stop ranting and get on with my life lmao.

I used to be in the MHA fandom, and trust me, it genuinely was a horrible experience. People were shipping minors with adults, and it was just absolutely disgusting. And I, personally disliked BKDK. I would get it everywhere in my recommended even if I didn’t even watch it. I don’t get what’s with people thinking shipping rivals together is “cute” when it’s just a toxic relationship, really. The anime is good, but the fandom is just disgusting. My channel used to be based about MHA too, but I just quit doing that because I just felt uncomfortable posting videos about it.

Tbh the only things I don’t like about the fandom is all the shipping and rude behavior. For example. People are shopping 16 year olds with 20+ year olds similar to how this video is. Along with people arguing over ships. You can think whatever you want- I think the AUs are creative and if you enjoy that AU then cool. It’s just that people hate on eachothers opinions. If you think dekus straight you get hate. If you think dekus gay you get hate. If you ship bakudeku you get hate. If you ship Dabi hawks you get hate. You can’t win when it comes to the mha ships. :) other than that, it’s a good show and a chill fandom if you ignore the hate.

Okay, let’s get this straight, first I am apart of the MHA fandom and I can confirm there are weirdos and disgusting people who make awful horrible videos about MHA and it’s characters and it’s messed up, but I can also confirm the whole fandom isn’t like this, there are a majority of us that are normal and healthy! So before you deny anything that I am going to say remember that I know, okay now here is my speech;
1. Summer if you are going to tell everybody what MHA is don’t tell them lies, you are correct on saying the first bit with Bakugo being his rival or friend but “ He is a quirk less boy who is *straight* and he *has a crush on Uraraka* “ No he isn’t and doesn’t, he was never confirmed straight and never was confirmed to have a crush on Uraraka, it might appear that IzuOcha is most likely canon in your eyes but that doesn’t mean it’s a fact, Deku may only blush around girls because he is *embarrassingly close* to them but that doesn’t prove that he is straight it proves he’s human and has emotions like the rest of us, “ They think Izuku is gay “ and y’all think Izuku is straight, his sexuality has NEVER been confirmed, there are rumors and lies going around that Horikoshi said it himself but he never did.
2. BakuDeku is not toxic, I will say it as much as I need to for everyone to understand, “ Also they ship BakuDeku “ “ They also think Deku is bottom and Bakugo is top they think basically Deku is bottom because he was bullied by Bakugo in middle school and they think it’s love?! “ Alright, there’s nothing wrong with BakuDeku and I will explain that but with the part about them bottoms and tops I can sort of agree with, not the fact that they think Deku is a bottom because he was bullied by Bakugo but the fact that it’s disgusting to label something like that on minors, “ Not everything should be romanticized just because he was bullied? “ That’s not what it is, there is so much more to BakuDeku than people think there is and it’s unfortunate because BakuDeku is the most popular ship in MHA shipping and there’s multiple good reasons for it! Heck even Horikoshi’s assistant ships it and MHA Japanese VA’s joke about it and still people bash on it? I will agree these texting stories cringe me out, they are cliché, gross and overall just not pleasant at all, they are made by immature people most likely kids but also people who have way too much time on their hands, the thumbnails creep me out along with the title honestly there’s nothing really bad about your speech about these things…eeexcept for the Gacha part, Deku turns into a bunny? Alright I can agree, Deku becomes pregnant? A that’s gross I agree, Deku becomes blind? I mean the story might be a little cringy but I don’t see what’s wrong with telling a different type of story that’s completely innocent, it’s just a story if Deku was blind what’s wrong with that? Now AU’s are of course no excuse to do creepy stuff but this AU doesn’t have anything bad in fact it’s a little wholesome.
Lastly, if we’re leaving on a positive note, as a BkDk shipper I love this anime and everything about it! The story is so good and the characters are amazing, the dynamics and backstories of the characters surprise me every time and I’m always in for new content! I wish everyone could see that not all of the MHA fandom is toxic and not all the fans are weird because this anime really deserves better so much better! ^w^ 💖

au means alternative universe I have been in the fandom for a long time, I mostly see some okay, good stuff but half of the time I see bad things.
I agree with the disturbing stuff (major/minor relationships, making a CANONICALLY MALE character pregnant, making minors go through NSFW stuff) but disagree with everything else.
Just because they are teens does not mean they cannot be in romantic relationships. Teens can make out, sure. As long as people don’t do explicitly NSFW stuff of minors there shouldn’t be a problem. Irl teens go through this stuff, it’s fine.
And BakuDeku? Has OP heard about the enemies to lovers trope? The top/bottom stuff is disgusting ofc but their relationship in and of itself is not inherently toxic. If people make it toxic then it’s a problem but people can change, relationships can change, and all in all you can be allowed to ship BakuDeku if you want.
Also there will always, ALWAYS be some kind of 18+ stuff on YT. Its why youtube kids exists. As a BKDK shipper when you were talking about how Deku is always bottom, that just made me want to jokingly make him top.
Because he just gives the feeling that he would be bottom in most relationships.
And that bakugo would top (not really because of the bullying, just they way they act in general)
And i think it would be funny if Deku was actually top.

I really don't know why a lot of My Hero Academy fans like making Gacha Club/Gacha Life videos and be like: *"This is an Au🤭"* *"Please respect I worked really hard on this 🥺"* And then they would put warnings like *18+* *Kissing* *S3X* *Not for kids* But they know kids would watch it anyways cause most kids don't listen as much because they want some spicy stuff. Their parents should watch them from what they watch and put as content on their I-pad, Phone or Computer. And yes, a lot of disgusting things from the texting stories make it stick out more. Some people like it and some people don't. And they start giving out their opinions, but the same people keep fighting and fighting and fighting.
I think all we should do is just keep away from fan-made videos about My Hero Academy and then just block them. Then we might actually see the good side of My Hero Academy fan-made videos.

By the time, when i was on MHA fandom, i really hated Bakudeku. I hated that people shipping bully and victim. But, i was really into todoroki and Deku, i through that was better ship, because Todo was friend with Izuku and never told him to KHS. And i really liked Ochako and Izuku, because i liked they chemistry all over first 2 seasons. Luckily, i dropped this anime and this fanbase. I happy that people starting to understand that some parts in fanbase is.... hideous

At this point there is a HUGE difference between enemies to lovers and enemies to friends to lovers. I am a huge fan of the owl house, and they showcase an ‘enemy’ becoming a lover. If you want to make enemies to lovers, don’t make them huge enemies and immediently become lovers. they need to be friends for a bit.

Before I say anything this is just my opinion. Every fandom has these weird sides to them(Im surprised we are barely pointing it now even tho theres been weirder fandoms). For the Y/N x Character thats just what people enjoy and it makes some people happy and comfortable. As for the Deku is whatever for 24 hours it can be weird but its only weird personally when its like preg or something. But when its something like him turning into hybrids its okay for the most part. Now to add to that there is Headcannos and as for the Deku is part of the Afton family there has been many collaborations with fandoms and when done well it is genuinely good. I have to agree tho some ship age gaps are weird asf. The thumbnails.. please dont sexualize threats... Some of the thumbnails you showed werent that bad well except for like one or two. As for following in their footsteps its our choice to do it and im aware yeah they are young and this is coming from personal experience but with a different more chaotic fandom. And as i can see you mainly targeted the texting stories and Gachas user these fandoms have been problematic for a while now. It bothers me that we bring up these problems when mha is now at its peek of its popularity. Aka it feels useless now. And it feels like people are trying to get as many views from mha when its on its peek of popularity.
