I honestly don't have the best memory of my first team unfortunately technically my first time playing Pokémon was soul silver but that was my older sister's game In Y though my Team was I believe Delphox, Lucario, Vespiquen, I think a Ageislash, Sylveon or Gardevoir I can't remember, and Richu

I do have a switch now and I own Legends Arceus so I finally am able to play one of the newer generation titles
That's very fair. The 2D games are stupidly expensive. Legends is my personal favourite Pokemon game since it's so different to all the other main line games. I wish you all the best with it🫡
Omg fellow munching orange enjoyer!!! I played black and white but didn’t get into watching Pokémon on TH-cam until X and Y!! Munching orange was also my first Pokémon TH-camr!!
If I did this, one shiny I would find is Maractus, it's genuinely my favourite gen 5 mon and it helped me defeat Ghetsis as my other team members couldn't deal with Cofagrigus
Maractus is such an underrated mon and its shiny is so good. I wish it was in Scarlet and Violet. Was it the only team member you had with dark type moves?

Mummy replaces the ability of the pomemon who makes contact with cofagrigus, and in my team the only dark type was a moxie Krookodile, so I couldn't use it against Cofagrigus or I would lose a very powerful ability, and my other team members didn't have enough power to defeat it, maractus was able to help though
FYI, to evolve, you don't need to defeat 3 Bisharp while yours holds the Leader's Crest. You need your Bisharp to defeat 3 Bisharp that are holding the Leader's Crest. The wild pokemon need them, not yours.
Is it? Everything I've read online regarding it says the Bisharp needs to be holding a Leader's Crest🤔 hmm I'm gonna look into it again. Thanks for letting me know😊
@itsmeMerks to just mark that bisharp as special? I'm honestly not sure. I am curious though if using Trick to give 3 random bisharp Leaders Crests would allow for the evolution
I'd imagine it would also depend on the bisharps code in the game. If the bisharps code doesn't have spawn requirements of it being surrounded by the pawniard, allowing it to spawn with the leaders crest, it may not work for the evolution
I only realised after finishing that hunt how rare it actually is😅 With the shiny charm the odds are 1/1365.67 and finding a rare marked pokemon is 1/1000. So that Blitzle is probably the rarest pokemon I'll ever find😅

Munching Orange really was THE GUY of pokemon youtube back then. His X & Y playthrough was so fun to watch
when you got to axew it reminded me of my Shiny Haxorus from the nature reserve. truly one of my favorite mons
The B2W2 shiny Haxorous is iconic. Unova really was the beginning of shiny hunting not being painful

I have 3 now Metagross, alolan raichu, and Skuntank but last one doesn't really count because it was the rare mark outbreak event a while back
