Why are the chins so terrifyingly large. I know it’s cartoonish but jeez, like half of the fighters have this. Also Joe looks like if a rotten potato fused with Bald Bull and then it put on a dark green shirt.

One of the three Punch-Out!! clones released for the Game Boy Advance. And it's the only one with a possessed, red-eyed Ivan Drago as a fighter. It's certainly colorful, fast, and a lot of fun, but it's mechanics definitely needed a bit more attention. If it wasn't for the hit-detection issues, this would easily be one of my favorite GBA games.
Just found my old copy and I'm having trouble avoiding attacks. Dodging doesn't seem to always work, and neither does blocking. I can't find a way to avoid special attacks at all. If you still remember it all can you give some advice?

I might have played it as a little boy when it gets easy I always dodge and punch, but when it gets harder I recommend holding the up button to block all jabs, straight, uppercuts, heavyslams, and haymakers until the opponent green bar turns blue and then once that I finally hit the opponent many times after hitting 20 times the opponent will be knocked down and whoever hits the opponent 60 times, complete 3, 6 to 10 rounds, knock him down 3 times and let the counter go up from 1 to 10 wins the fight.
A lot of the game sprites don’t make sense for example Antonio Chavez, his profile picture he appears with pale skin, white boxing gloves and a mustache but his in game avatar has brown skin, red boxing gloves and a beard!

The art style of this game looks terrible to be honest. Punch out’s art style at least had a neat cartooney feel to it. This has nothing. In fact, most ot the boxers used the same sprite model, except they edit it for the different fighters. Look at Wade Hixton’e Counter Punch which is on the same system. It had it’s own cartooney style as well but it looked nice and it was well animated.
GoldenToparican Mike Tyson's Punch Out (NES) has palette swaps as well e.g. Glass Joe+Don Flamenco, Soda Popinski+Super Macho Man. I know that that changes little but you should be more observant.
