All you have to do is know how to bid, have a great mechanic that does body work as well, have a tow truck and know what people want in cars. Not too hard of a job.
lmao you just described it like if its nothing. You literally just said something like “naaaa having a restaurant aint that hardddd, all you have to do is know where to get cheap product. Sell food that people want and find a good location” 🤣🤣🤣 Actually finding a good cheap and reliable body guy could take you weeks or months. Knowing how to bid, you will make lots of mistakes at first and lose money, same with “knowing what cars sell”. It really aint a rocket science business but you will invest quite a bit of money and LOTS of time before having it running like youd like.
Excellent! You get so many interesting cars through these auctions. I remember that fixed up Mazda Miata where the main issue was finding a new front bumper and hood. I know you love Infiniti Q50s but that kind of car woulda been a keeper too. But as you say, gotta move quick in this business and move onto the next flip and keep the money compounding!
@@fleawhatup I know in RI it seems pretty easy just take before & after pictures, take copies of documents & the most important part is verifying the vin number of the donor car that the parts came from to make sure it’s not from a stolen car

How do you sell them so fast when you have to register the title in your name ? Don’t you have to wait for the title to come back before you can sell it ?
Thanks for your videos, bro! Quick question-when you first started, did you have any mutual agreements with body shops or mechanics? Like, did they give you early appointments or lower charges? Because where I am, getting a mechanic appointment is a huge challenge.
I'm doing the same thing at a much smaller scale, as well as I'm a Toyota apprentice, with a grandpa whos a master GM mechanic, so I do all the work, saves a lot of money. As well as keep the cars for a few months aka registering them in my name, full coverage insurance and providing proof of all repairs done, I can tell right away dudes cutting a lot of corners, not exactly wrong but he is not registering them, so he can sell them as quickly as possible. Selling cars with low tire tread, worn pads or even pad slaps, muffler leaks, clearing DTCs without repairs. ex. O2 sensors codes take a number of key cycles (up to 40 key cycles in some cars) to give a check engine light, its chillub (dog) activities. Not for me, good for him though, he is making it happen.

some people like records.. like information showing it was done.. and him being a one man new business.. some people may not trust it. so taking it to a big mechanic, or someone already well founded, is better and reputable.. and a source of trust, showing hes putting in the work to make the car nice before selling.

You should go more in depth on how you make the car go from salvage title to rebuilt

My question is how you paying little of the fees
