These are some good sleep tips, not just for ascending Kili, but in general. I have apnea, which though treated for it, I still suffer some poor quality nights. Need to look into Diamox. Despite all the research and doctor's visits I've made related to apnea, never heard of this one. Perhaps it might help address the underlying mechanism in central sleep apneas (vs. obstructive variety)... These tips would have been helpful 20 years ago when I climbed Kili. Though I had a companion then who frequently experienced nightmares and would erupt in blood-curling screams. Which in turn caused me to shoot bolt upright with a WTF heart racing response in an already poor night of sleep. So don't think those earplugs (which I used then) helped much. LOL... Nice work, Kevin and crew!
