pleasantly surprised about this car. Just bought mine for 14k otd. It comes equipped with everything you actually need and none of the fluff you don't. my favorite feature by far is lifting up the rear seats then folding the backrest completely flat for......intimate moments with the wife, or sleeping in if I upset her.
I actually prefer manual windows cause that's one less thing to break, and if you find yourself in a situation where the car is submerged in water, you can simply roll the window down to get out, instead of trying to break it with something.
Watched this video after trading in my beautiful f150;( I was sad but common almost $4 a gallon of gas and I wanted a cheap car with no added BS. The wife and I own a 2016 Fiesta SE and now a 2018 Focus S model. Really nothing wrong with the S model. Just slap some decent wheels & tires get some window tint and keep her clean and you have a beautiful cheap car:)! GREAT review wow. watched in 4k
Overall this is very solid buy. The only two things they need to consider changing are lights for the vanity mirrors and power rear windows. You can't child lock a manual rear window and during high humidity mornings it's nice roll down the rear window for a direct non-condensation covered view for the initial driveway pullout.

Excellent video. Covered a LOT of ground quickly but understandably. I have had my hatchback going on a year now - just synced my phone (Tip: If you're having troubles syncing, try turning you Bluetooth off and back on) Didn't know about extending the visor. Great tip cuz you're right on about the sun trying to blind you . ;-]) Thanks again!
I have a 2018 Ford Focus SEL. One step down from the titanium, but this S model is definitely a stripped down model. My radio and center screen is all touch screen.
Hey mike, do you think if you ever get a chance you could do a Dodge Dart? I'm thinking about buying one and I like hearing all the info you have about the cars.
I have Ford focus 2016 and it only has 7000 miles I brought it with only 17 miles but I have been having problems with Frm the time I got it and every time I took it to dealership they tell me there's nothing wrong with it but I know there is so I'm very upset cause I feel like they rip me off now the engine light is coming on and it drives very rough the idle handle goes goes up to 4& 5 so if anyone has the same problem I would appreciate it if u can give me a feed back and tell what might be wrong with it I'm gonna talk to a lemon attorney if they don't fix what ever is wrong with it ..it shouldn't do what it's doing its a new car I don't understand what the hell
You’ve problably already figured out but for the people who look at this reply on your comment it is like an information thing. Like if your low on gas , low tire pressure etc it will pop up.
I own a 2016 focus, exactly the same as seen here except I have the Manual Transmission. It is very important to remember that the automatic transmission on Focus model is very unreliable and very unpleasant to use. Why didn't you mention that ?
It does. In fact the S is the only trim level you can get the manual trans in, unless you go for the SE with the 1.0L 3-cyl EcoBoost engine. That also comes standard with a manual, with a different auto than the PowerShift as an option.
It has a rear back up camera. That's not as often in base models, especially in 2016. Why do you, the driver, need power windows in the back? The fact is you don't. So smart way to save money and instead put in other features, like the rear backup camera which will be of direct benefit to the driver. Also, in general, the lack of buttons covering your door is always a plus. Haven't you ever got in a vehicle with all powered vehicles and there's like 8 different buttons? It's a mess. And sometimes you might even hit the wrong ones and roll down a window you didn't want to. It's just annoying. This way, it's clean and to the exact standards that a driver needs.
Now I got a 2017 with 52,000 mi on it but I'm going to buy that when I have the money and run it to the f****** grounds driving it cuz it's got Android auto
I love base model reviews.
+G Man Very rare!
it's not the base model though it has a automatic transmission option

Baron Von Toast LOL
Best comment yet LMAO
Lol

i never like that
There is a better solution - Don't drive into the ocean, lake or river.
Better stick to cars from 1985 then?

Just bought this exact car, same color and everything so it was nice watching the video. Learning a few things I hadn't known yet
Nice to see the base model! Still well-equipped but cheap enough for someone wanting an affordable, fuel-efficient car to buy! (:
Overall this is very solid buy. The only two things they need to consider changing are lights for the vanity mirrors and power rear windows. Loved this video, just bought this car yesterday!
How do you like? Any issues since having it?
Thinking about buying tomorrow….how is it so far?
@@duffytv7870it's perfect car if you buy manual. Automatic trannies has issues
Hahahaha it's kinda funny that they give a backup camera, but they don't give power windows in the S
Power windows for the back I mean
There are power windows up front. Which I think is the more important.
That's the same EXACT thing I was thinking lmao. But then I figured how often will I really have back passengers..?
Driver can power all windows
Ffffff
Do you know why it has no cruise control I’m talking about the Ford focus S

MikesCarInfo I do that by watching your videos!
Is there an outside temp display available on this model?
Yes
so that means no cruise control ? is there a way to get this feature after the fact?
Kris Wedderburn the only way to get it is if you get and se trim or higher
Hey mike, will you make a review of the mazda 3 2016 anytime soon? Great work btw!
+Mar Valencia Not anytime soon. I don't have access to any new Mazda vehicles.

Thanks for the good video
That spot in the glove box is not for a pen, it's for a *tire gauge.*
Hello, I was wondering is the 2016 Ford Focus S had a navigation system? If yes, I was needing help accessing it..
Why does it have auto windows in the front and crank in the back lol. I thought it was always either or?
Dodge did the 50/50 power window split on the Neon as well.
I have a 2018 Ford Focus SEL. One step down from the titanium, but this S model is definitely a stripped down model. My radio and center screen is all touch screen.
Civic 2016 or the TYPE-R plss
2016 and it still doesn't have standard automatic windows in the back
...da hell
if you're buying the car , when are you gonna be in the back?
Do you have passengers in the back of your vehicle all the time lol..?
Are you sure you don't have a Model -T?
Hey mike, do you think if you ever get a chance you could do a Dodge Dart? I'm thinking about buying one and I like hearing all the info you have about the cars.
yes I have a 2015 and a 2016 Dodge Dart video on my channel.
Hi, I just bought a 2016 Ford Focus and can't figure out how to set the cruise control. Do you know how?
+96us__ Just bought one myself...you probably have the base model like I do...unfortunately the base model doesnt have cruise control
96us__ yes they come with it its just hard to find go to
I'm 6'2 and am not comfortable in the passenger seat with it all the way to the back position. Focus is good on gas but not for large passengers.
Is it the dual clutch automatic? Those are troublesome.
Odd. there is rear seat pockets on the Fiesta S, but not the Focus S?
I thought the 16s was keyless entry
Perfect car 💙👍🙏
Great videos! Does the Focus S come with cruise control?
superbionicbatman yes
Maybe the base fiesta has no Cruse contral
What does the I symbol mean on my dash board

+Mauricio Cruz Sorry I don't have access to new BMW vehicles.

+BluntMachete I'll try to do one this week if the dealer has one in stock.

Still runs good ... keep the oil changed. Service the transmission.

I thought the S had a manual transmission?

You should of reviewed an SEL, SE, or titanium with more options and the ones that have the LED lighting running lights.
Manual windows in the back? Jeez Ford sells really base vehicles. Like REALLY base. My ol 2004 Toyota has power windows
It has a rear back up camera. That's not as often in base models, especially in 2016. Why do you, the driver, need power windows in the back? The fact is you don't. The backseat is pretty crappy if your 5'9 like me.
Stay away from the power shift transmission. 😉
?
No cruise or armrest, and manual rear windows for 19k? LOL. I'll take a look at the Jetta instead.
heyitsme These are selling for under $11,000
DONT get the Jetta. I’m going from a Jetta to this right now
Maybe get the Jetta new. It has a lot of issues toward 200k miles
Man! If you buy Focus buy manual transmission! You will be trouble free
The manual window in the back is weird.
Will save you during winter fishing 😂
Now I got a 2017 with 52,000 mi on it but I'm going to buy that when I have the money and run it to the f****** grounds driving it cuz it's got Android auto
Haha baby Fusion!
