Jack, Erykah was very, involved in drama and a school of the arts before breaking out into music. She is definitely charismatic in her appeal. Her voice is just next level. When she first came on the scene with her first video and single, "On and On" I didn't even see the tv screen. I heard her voice, stopped what I was doing in another room and went to see who she was. Her voice was unlike any artist I had ever heard before:)

Ms.Badu is the truth. I grew up in Cincinnati and we used to have a thing called The Jazz Festival. It was a weekend, Fri thru sun event. Friday was for newer acts. Sat was established acts. Sunday was the OG always ending with Frankie Beverly & Maze.
