Nice! I am enjoying your bird paintings🥰 I also paint birds. But I do make detailed sketches, measured from my reference photo. Why? Because my husband is an expert birder and he can spot the tiniest deviance from what a “you -name -it” really looks like🤣 I also have a lot of birding experience and I am also picky about the birds’ details. My current challenge is getting enough texture on feathers without painting every one!
