Nice machine, I just received the same combination and will be using the 28" bar to try and stand-up to buck as much as possible - Buckin Billy Ray convinced me this is the way to go to try and save our backs. He's using the full length of the bar to buck the logs and he only really digs in the dogs when he's finding knots in the wood.
