Not only they remebered about the genocide route, they remebered about all of the neutral routes, where the player was simply "testing things". That sure made them feel even more betrayed. Damn

I love Error's role in all of this You'd think he's the main antagonist given his character, but he's much more on the side. He's powerful but has no real alignment, he's just doing his thing
the fact that papyrus is still believing that the human still have good in theme even after XGaster uncovering everyone's memories about the genocide routes is amazing
I mean, papyrus believes in anyone, despite their terrible actions they have made in the past, papyrus will always believe because he is someone who can forgive just like in disbelief au, for example, papyrus has to judge you for your sins but papyrus doesn't have the power to kill despite making sans and undyne to help kill the human still didn't work, papyrus is just that person that cant imagine himself killing someone so that is why papyrus would forgive, asgore, probably because he wouldn't care too much but undyne would be angry like hell like we saw in this episode

I love that fresh seems like a complete moron but is actually one of the smartest and probably most powerful characters so far. The way he's portrayed here is making him one of my favourites.
X-Gaster shouldn't be much for Error, Ink, Fresh, and Fatal Error. Fresh is a parasite, which can even be a big nuisance for Error and Ink, and already in this chapter he showed how powerful he really is. Fatal Error has all the powers of Error, but it lacks experience, even so it can corrupt code in a better way than Error and it is crazier than Error itself, so in a certain sense it is even more dangerous. Error is a glitch, he can control any soul just by trapping them with his threads, fight against hackers, and he has a lot of experience fighting gods. Error really should be able to beat Fatal Error if it wasn't for the factor of his past in Aftertale, but people just underestimate Error. And Ink that literally his powers come from the true omnipotent beings of Undertale AU and that his role is to fight against guys like Error, Fatal Error and Fresh. While X-Gaster needs to use a button to be really powerful in this crazy world of Out! Codes.

@@memefied4253 Although Ink doesn't really take his role of protecting the AUs very seriously, it's still his job, and his power comes from the creators, which should give them enough power to fight and stop the most powerful of the Doodle Sphere.
@Alguien my guess is that X!gaster will get a crazy power boost or something for the final fight because nobody wants to just see the main villain get steam rolled and I don't think jakei would make it that anti climactic.

Just realised that at 13:21 you can see the purple strings that ink put on him in 0.4 around him and then fall off, which means that the second he got loose from them, not even giving the time to get them off properly, he goes after ink, minor details like this is one of the many reasons I love this series

I really feel bad for error in all of underverse, in combat he's constantly getting overwhelmed even though he's really strong and even though he has an obsession with destruction, he seems to be the only person with actual rational thinking and common sense.

Ink has a 10/10 character arc honestly. Going from a friendly and supportive ally, to an emotionless psycho, and now it seems like he's slowly realizing his weaknesses and mistakes.

Honestly, I absolutely loved that line, too. It's the best Papyrus line I've ever heard/read. 🤣 It's nice that he and Asgore still helped Frisk (of course, no less should be expected from the Great Papyrus).
You can tell how much Jakei has improved. She literally makes the whole series on her own and that’s something we should appreciate since it’s no easy job for one person to do so.
Just realized that, amongst Ink’s emotion vials, “Integrity” wasn’t consumed at all. Integrity is possessing good morals and generally having a decent understanding of them. He does not, in fact, have that. Nor does he seem to want it.
They just stand for different ,well, emotions Red has canonically been stated to stand for wrath/aggression and yellow/orange for euphoria All the others are left to interpretation

well technically he fought mainly with ink, whose attacks are mainly... ink. He did got walloped by broomie and constantly yeeted so there's that I guess...
I've only just noticed this, but in Soulless Heart, we can see Ink's silhouette, but it's unclear which way he's facing. I checked back in the episode and he usually wears his brush with the end visible over his left shoulder. This means in Soulless Heart he's facing AWAY from XGaster. I think that was foreshadowing his "redemption" all along and how he helps stop the "game" they've been playing. Just a theory tho lol :P
Well, it totatly depends on which design we're talking about. Ink's original design (the one we see throughout underverse s1 and until now) has the tip of his brush pointing to the left side, yes BUT Ink's redesign places the tip of his brush on the right side. And we see thanks to the wide pants and the lack of the wrapped hoodie, in the outro we're seeing Ink's redesign. Thus meaning he IS looking AT XGaster. Tho the fact that he is looking at him is still a good thing, he is no longer looking away, he's facing the issue, his demons, and the "friend" that lied to him. Kinda funny and ironic. Ink betrayed the entire Multiverse for XGaster, and now he realises XGaster lied to him.

I was so confused in season 1 when I realized that Ink wasn't inherently good. He only cares about creation, not keeping the created alive. He supports XGaster because he creates not because his creations make the world better. I'm glad Ink finally realized he was wrong. Also, I love Fresh even more now!
It comes from the fact that Ink is an unfinished creation. He was created but was never finished: he's static. That's why he needs his vials of paint to feel emotion. But the fact that he can naturally feel "regret" (aka the emotions of the Blue Color Spectrum, which was full this whole episode: meaning he never drank it throughout this episode) shows that whoever his creator was in-universe, they feel regret for not being able to finish him. Ink calls what he's doing a "game" but really, it's just his own way to take his anger and frustration out on the multiverse because he thinks he can't experience anything new or exciting because, like I said, he's static, unfinished. All Fresh and Core did was point out that as "The Guardian" he actually WAS experiencing what he wanted to experience. It doesn't matter how little it was because even the smallest change effects the multi-verse and thus him. ...and because seriously Ink needed a kick in the butt because he DOES know better...

@@umamifan According to Ink's creator, Comyet (aka Mye Bi), Ink's a "conceptional Sans." He represents Undertale AU ideas that never get off the ground. We all know those. A whole ton of fandom is made of unfinished work, be it fanfics, art, animations, you name it. Thereforth Ink himself an unfinished creation. In his own canon (aka what Comyet has shared), Ink is souless because he destroyed his own soul due to despair of him being the first and only character of his world to have a soul. But it was because of this destruction of his soul that he was able to escape his world, and landed in a white void that would eventually become the Doodle Sphere. But the destruction of his soul and time spent the blank Doodle Sphere had pretty much left him unable to feel emotions, leading to his need to rely on colors in order to feel strongly. He hasn't really lost access to emotions, but they are very much muted to the point where he feels emotionless. A random unknown creator dropped the paintbrush with the colors into the Doodle Sphere void, allowing Ink to discover how the multiverse works through the colors.
I just realized this on my second watch but at 12:46 (and during Ink vs Fresh's fight) you can see the only full vial Ink has is blue, for sadness or integrity. I feel like Ink leaves it full because he'd rather not have to feel those things after what he's done, just a thought :^)
I think it's the opposite - about what he DOES have! At 18:07, Fresh asks what Kindness even is, and similarly tosses away Justice in favor of a Perseverance/XGaster based game, displaying the Bravery Ink needed to go so far to bring it to fruition in his text as well. Assuming all colors matter here, using Patience to consider the Magic Cure All could refer to how Ink lives, worked, or both. I'm not sure what the Magenta color means (Fear? Joy?), but Ink is ultimately left with neutral and Integrity, as he finally takes in the situation alongside morals rather than shoving his doubt under the others. He's finally aligned as a hero, at least for the time being. Of course, I would not be surprised if the first turned out correct and Ink absorbs everything he was missing, and I'm overthinking part of this.
well integrity is basically like honesty then ink not drinking that prob makes him able to do lie without hesitation and that pretty much what the whole fight was about lol
I like to think that in Ink's fight with Error, Error thought the script was too boring so instead of following the script, he improvised and basically vented about how his popularity in the show was going down because of Ink and on the sudden improv moment, Ink instantly came up with a witty response to keep it going and Jakei decided she liked it better than the original script.
The fact that Jakei's animation is up there with top animators and we are given this content to watch for free is just a blessing. We really dont deserve this. Amazing af animator!
I love how this series has become it's own anime. That chase sequence between Ink and Fresh looks like it could be a game where you play as Ink trying to get the vials from Fresh. Also classic Undyne is a badass in this episode.
After rewatching the Fresh!Ink vs Error scene a few times I noticed how the vials slowly drained, which is an awesome way to show how he was on a time limit before splitting again. That must have been a pain to animate, though the result is pretty awesome.
This woman animates all by herself (from what I've heard) and just keeps getting better.. if there's anybody out there who truly does their job honestly and right with all their effort without cutting corners its Jakei!
8:52 It’s very interesting to see how everyone regained their memories knowing Frisk made MILLIONS of resets. At this point every monsters must have at least thousands of years of experiences. Like, now Undyne knows how she was Undyne the Undying on the genocide routes. For Sans it must be the same thing, he’s likely to be extremely OP considering he fought Frisk millions of times.
Cause they are great artist and story teller and a person that probably craves this as much as the rest of us. Waiting a year for 25 minutes of animation will really help you to appreciate and love the quality that they spent hours sitting around animating it all
The fact that Jakei keeps making these are proof that even as undertale as a whole becomes less popular, there will always be that community that doesn't stop appreciating the content. we all love your work love your work, keep it up, none of us mind the wait in between episodes.

Remember that fighting scenes takes a long LONG time no animate, a single panel can take at least 7 hours or more, and the worst part is... That Fatal_Error isnt here yet, since he's a challenge to animators, and remember that the animation is not the only thing that is made... The storyline, the music, the sound effects... Ya know, the fact that Papyrus and Asgore were still willing to protect Frisk, if largely to make them answer for their sins, instead of immediately letting them get taken by XPapyrus, is miles touching. I don't think I can say the same for Undyne, unfortunately. Though no doubt she still wants Frisk alive so they can explain everything. Nothing will be the same after this. Not unless Frisk resets, and with XGaster present, they can't. Also, i must ask: with the red text, was that Chara talking to Frisk about their insecurities? I can't think of any other character or dialogue that has red text. XAsriel's first hint as Omega Flowey??? That'll be an interesting development. I still don't seem to quite understand Fresh's motivations. Or if he even has any at all. What's his role in the long run? Who does he ally with? Is he firmly with Core!Frisk, or is it a matter of convenience? Hopefully Jael can answer that in a future animation! Ah, Error, you manchild. Your interactions with Geno and/or Fatal will certainly be interesting.
Fresh's motivation is to probably show Ink his weaknesses, using it against him as some sort of a lesson, that way Ink knows and realizes what he has to do or something like that (Although it's just my theory, it might be close so yea)
Fresh acts for himself and does whatever he wants, he doesn't really have any "intention" apart from surviving and having fun, buzzing people off simply because he can, taking over Ink's body to fight Error (and win) to prove a point That said, he's prob not allied with anyone, the point of 'helping' Ink was to get 'the funniest thing in the multiverse'. Now that's it out of the question, he'll probably play the wild card
In fact, now that I think about it, Fresh's last line of "Let them know nobody messes with you" was more than a lesson, it was a warning. He wanted to warn Error and Ink, which are in the top tier power levels, that he, too, can mess things up if he feels like it. That he knows their weaknesses (as evidenced with the vials for Ink and the hands for Error) and that he can abuse them, so they should not scam or threaten him

i’ve grown out of my undertale phase years ago, but it’s always so hype and nostalgic watching underverse! your work is incredible, and i’ve enjoyed watching every episode throughout the years!!
Your animations have much higher quality than even some studios out there. There's a very loud minority that keeps complaining about the time these episodes take to make, but the way I see it, producing this level of quality in only one year is absolutely astonishing. You can really see the passion that goes into creating underverse. As an aspiring artist, you are one of my greatest role models. Never change! :)
No, if you compare Jakei and freelance anime animator, you will see why minority are very loud. (That anime animator can make 1 anime episode in 6 months, with anime quality)

can we just take a moment to appreciate HOW GOOD this animation is? many people just watch it and dont even notice,that this takes an extremely extremely long time to make (and i mean it). and the fact that the video is 25 MINUTES,is just impressive. its pretty cool that this is all animated in flash.
This really feels like going down memory lane when rewatching the series to see how far this series has come.. all the hardwork, effort, and dedication. its absolutely incredible how you can see how much everything has improved!! this series will go down in history as one of the coolest undertale fanwork ever. phenomenal.. just phenomenal. you guys do NOT disappoint

That was beautiful! Masterful, amazing transitions, dialogue, reveals. The irony of the timelines and routes being revealed to everyone in Last Corridor of all places. Fresh Ink beating Error, Geno’s reveal at the end, Papyrus and the others still helping Frisk after the reveal. It all comes and blends together so masterfully that it’s like a taste of heaven. Out of everything, this is your best work yet and you’ve outdone yourself! The wait was worth it and I don’t care how long you take your dedication to this community is extremely commendable and I respect it so deeply. Thanks for another amazing work of art.

Fresh finally being a real and plotforwarding character is such a great development. Also gotta love that everyone in UT recovered their memory, Frisk was cleaaarly not at all already in a big mess before that. Ending on AfterTale is a banger move tho.

I know I already left two other comments, but I'm honestly happy this series didn't portray Papyrus as a bumbling innocent skeleton boy who knows nothing about how the world works. He actually knows a lot more than he lets on, and the fact that he so openly accepted the reality shown to him and still acted as he would shows that this series portrays him as he should be, in my opinion. Thank you for such an amazing series, Jakei. Can't wait to see more!
Absolutely incredibly animated. This is the biggest achievement in the entire community by a long shot. You've created an animated series that looks incredible from the start to present day, that has an amazing story and even fan service. God I love seeing the impact X-Gaster has on just one universe, using his power of overwrite to completely cover the world and assimilate it. It shows you that, when it comes to an army powerful across the multiverse, one world stands no chance. Also can I say how wonderfully uncanny it is seeing the human military getting involved? Watching a soldier desperately shoot at Muffet's pets, only for her to crush the bullet in her hand, was awesome.
Oh my gosh, I never would have thought that the animation quality could get EVEN BETTER than in 0.6. And yet, here it is, smooth as butter. There is so much to unpack in such a short amount of time, too. Amazing job, Jael ! You outdid yourself once more :D
Since I am new to this and just watched season 1 and 2 there will be a continuation, right? I don't really know if it is the finale or if I will be able to expect another episode in like a few months

Damn, what an episode. The most unexpected outcome was the gift and Fresh's involvement in the storyline, now we know how he had been pulling punches, that Fresh!Ink is exactly what it is (Ink being taken over by Fresh) and might return in the future, and his well-timed insight onto XGaster's insecurities - that delivery over hostility hits home hard. (poor Error tho, spotlight stolen, ass kicked by the combination of his most hated people, basically reduced to comedy) And somehow I did make a close guess on what happened this ep, after thinking over "A Cure For Amnesia". Just that it wasn't Frisk who revealed the truth, XGaster just casually made his way to it. Will be very interested in how everyone in Main Universe (well, Glitched Main Universe to be exact) will act after that revelation. Overall, there's quite a lot of plot points to be processed. Thank you, Jakei for working very hard to create another masterpiece, Nyx for the awesome OST, and everyone who has supported them over the year, and see you in 2023!
Ass kicked? He was kicking Fresh!Ink's until those bottles bursted by pure plot armor because Error squeezed them on accident. Error's fights are my favourite part of this episode.
Personnally im a bit sad dat we dont see Error as much as a threat and that hes more taken as a comic thingy than anything else in this season , he feels way less serious even if hes the closest he's ever been to his main goal... (yeah im just error fanboyin ik il)
@@0ssias904 Well, his shtick is being a massive man-child, and the only thing serious for him is regarding cleansing the UT multiverse, considering he took the truce quite seriously and pulled no punches when Ink broke it (which he would still being whiny about since his efforts were overshadowed by next big thing, XGaster) Based on other themes made for him and Ink, he will return with a major role to play again, probably joining hands with Ink to stop XGaster from corrupting the UT Multiverse. For now, he's still him, the bonehead man-child that loves chocolate and soap opera.
Fresh...is actually smarter then I thought. He figured out everyone's weaknesses on the short time he met them. First off, he found error habephobia from when they met in xtale, and in battle when he glitched out after cross punched him. Next he found out ink drying out from using too much paint while he was fighting error. If you noticed everytime ink used an attack, his eyes had less color. And his reliance on his vials since he literally can't do anything without them. And he used their weaknesses against them. He knew ink HAD to use his vials...so he stole them knowing he would chase him and infected them knowing he would drink them. He used the spray cans to create hands knowing error has a fear of being touched to win the fight without actually fighting. Also very manipulative as he used ink's own philosophy against him to justify his actions saying that it's what he wanted. He pretends to be dumb when he is actually the smartest in the room. Genius use of his character Jael👍

as someone who absolutely loves Fresh (both his silly side and his calculative side), this was a joy to watch :D Your portrayals of all the characters are absolute justice!
I like the fact that fatal error's part in the opening has glitch effects on the entire screen. You can compare 0.6's intro with this one to see. I think this shows that fatal error's fight (possibly in 0.7 part 2) will be even more messier than we thought (in a good way). Good luck animating this guy, Jakei.
a detail that I didn't see anyone talking about was at minute 14:36, when ink uses his powers his eyes lose their colors, and that was an incredible detail on jakei's part
It just hit me that Frisk and Ink were both the same all along. In 0.4, Ink admits he plays this game for his own amusement, even if it takes a few lives, before starting it over and over again. It took Fresh telling him it was purely evil in front of his face to make him change. We can then look at Frisk, or well, us, the player, who did the exact same with Undertale, which was revealed to everyone belonging to this same universe earlier in the episode. Both seem to be on a redemption arc and we could assume them teaming up at some point, despite indirectly being enemies because of their respective relationship with XGaster. I could likely see Ink changing his mind and trying to safekeep the remaining AUs from him (though it seems only Undertale, Xtale and the Omega Timeline are left at this point anyway)
Jakei has really improved with animation and the fact that she alone animated this is astonishing. Congrats Jakei we support you in any way possible. Most of people don’t understand that you need time to make an animation that is long like 25 minutes and most of people want already more after watching this animation. You all need to realize that Jakei needs to take like 2 months break after this animation cuz making an animation that is long like 25 minutes is exhausting.

Se siente tan poco, no mcreo que estuve pegado 25 minutos a la pantalla con esto, no sentí el tiempo pasar y deja esa sensación de querer más después de que termina, simplemente talento puro, una pena tener que esperar para el próximo (que se que tardará lo suyo) pero valdrá cada maldito segundo de espera. Personally my favorite part about underverse is the fact It makes every character that you may not even know or think is semi bland Seem far more than they seem, On another note Great episode 10/10 Love the geno introduction in the last part! Cant wait to see where it ends up going (Knowing that fatal error is also in this i wonder how the story will progress :) )
When error grabbed Ink with his strings and shouted "IT'S ERRORIN' TIME" and began to slam him down repeatedly was my favorite moment in the whole video, truly poetry on Jakei's part
"From now on, there will be thousands of possibilites" From my understanding I think what Core is trying to say is that because of the X-Event/Underverse events happening the Undertale Fandome will now have more possibilities after it slowly died out such as the Creators giving up forcing Ink to play with XGaster's game from fear of the multiverse's downfall
Also to tell the idiot that his reasons for helping XGaster are actually baseless. He could never be "bored" as the Guardian of the Multiverse because there's always something new and exciting waiting for him to experience even if it's just one tiny detail. But if XGaster does succeed in creating a "perfect world" then...all of that will be gone and he truly would be "bored" because while he may not care to keep the worlds' alive just for the sake of keeping them alive, he *does* care about creation itself. Ink will go back to being an unfinished creation and nothing more...talk about boring.
Another silly fact: I just realized that in the X Event FNF mod, Ink already has all his vials empty except for the blue one that seems half consumed. What I mean is that there's been foreshadowing about the blue vial being the only one remaining since a long time ago because the mod is from 2021 😭
Finally watched this and I am SO impressed that one person can produce quite possibly the finest and most cared for piece of animation I have literally ever seen. Even compared to industry animation. As amazing as those are, it's clear there's so much dedication and love in these animated projects. Underverse will forever be my favorite animated project ever, even as I am not as into the Undertale scene as I used to be. Thanks Jakei, we love you :) I hope you know that ^^

Everything going on with Ink rn was like a punch to the gut. I've seen so many old friends and fans of Undertale just give up or lose interest and stop creating. I also struggled a lot with those anxious feelings in my own Undertale stories and drawings. But I overcame it and continue making my own aus and stories all the time! :) Just seeing the self-debilitating thoughts from other people in the fandom spoke to me a lot idk sefkjnef
If there's one emotion Ink feels without the help of his vials...it's "regret" because a lot of creators do regret not being able to finish their creations or be able to go back to them so they can finish them. He's not as "empty" as he thinks he is, he just doesn't acknowledge it until it's forced into his face.

I love that fresh seems like a complete moron but is actually one of the smartest and probably most powerful characters so far. The way he's portrayed here is making him one of my favourites.
A great adaptation as always in the Underverse and no doubt thanks to Fresh Ink, he would be the most powerful in the Underverse.
X-Gaster shouldn't be much for Error, Ink, Fresh, and Fatal Error.
Fresh is a parasite, which can even be a big nuisance for Error and Ink, and already in this chapter he showed how powerful he really is.
Fatal Error has all the powers of Error, but it lacks experience, even so it can corrupt code in a better way than Error and it is crazier than Error itself, so in a certain sense it is even more dangerous.
Error is a glitch, he can control any soul just by trapping them with his threads, fight against hackers, and he has a lot of experience fighting gods. Error really should be able to beat Fatal Error if it wasn't for the factor of his past in Aftertale, but people just underestimate Error.
And Ink that literally his powers come from the true omnipotent beings of Undertale AU and that his role is to fight against guys like Error, Fatal Error and Fresh.
While X-Gaster needs to use a button to be really powerful in this crazy world of Out! Codes.

@Alguien my guess is that X!gaster will get a crazy power boost or something for the final fight because nobody wants to just see the main villain get steam rolled and I don't think jakei would make it that anti climactic.

Just realised that at 13:21 you can see the purple strings that ink put on him in 0.4 around him and then fall off, which means that the second he got loose from them, not even giving the time to get them off properly, he goes after ink, minor details like this is one of the many reasons I love this series

I'm curious to see how papyrus reacts to all his memories being unlocked, because the fact that everyone is living in a (somewhat) peaceful post-pacifist timeline proves that papyrus was right all along about the human still having good in them.

Just realized that, amongst Ink’s emotion vials, “Integrity” wasn’t consumed at all. Integrity is possessing good morals and generally having a decent understanding of them. He does not, in fact, have that. Nor does he seem to want it.

I've only just noticed this, but in Soulless Heart, we can see Ink's silhouette, but it's unclear which way he's facing. I checked back in the episode and he usually wears his brush with the end visible over his left shoulder. This means in Soulless Heart he's facing AWAY from XGaster. I think that was foreshadowing his "redemption" all along and how he helps stop the "game" they've been playing. Just a theory tho lol :P

Ink's original design (the one we see throughout underverse s1 and until now) has the tip of his brush pointing to the left side, yes

Ink's redesign places the tip of his brush on the right side.
And we see thanks to the wide pants and the lack of the wrapped hoodie, in the outro we're seeing Ink's redesign. Thus meaning he IS looking AT XGaster.
Tho the fact that he is looking at him is still a good thing, he is no longer looking away, he's facing the issue, his demons, and the "friend" that lied to him.

I was so confused in season 1 when I realized that Ink wasn't inherently good. He only cares about creation, not keeping the created alive. He supports XGaster because he creates not because his creations make the world better. I'm glad Ink finally realized he was wrong.
Also, I love Fresh even more now!
It comes from the fact that Ink is an unfinished creation. He was created but was never finished: he's static. That's why he needs his vials of paint to feel emotion.
But the fact that he can naturally feel "regret" (aka the emotions of the Blue Color Spectrum, which was full this whole episode: meaning he never drank it throughout this episode) shows that whoever his creator was in-universe, they feel regret for not being able to finish him.
Ink calls what he's doing a "game" but really, it's just his own way to take his anger and frustration out on the multiverse because he thinks he can't experience anything new or exciting because, like I said, he's static, unfinished. All Fresh and Core did was point out that as "The Guardian" he actually WAS experiencing what he wanted to experience. It doesn't matter how little it was because even the smallest change effects the multi-verse and thus him.
...and because seriously Ink needed a kick in the butt because he DOES know better...

@@umamifan According to Ink's creator, Comyet (aka Mye Bi), Ink's a "conceptional Sans." He represents Undertale AU ideas that never get off the ground. We all know those. A whole ton of fandom is made of unfinished work, be it fanfics, art, animations, you name it. Thereforth Ink himself an unfinished creation. In his own canon (aka what Comyet has shared), Ink is souless because he destroyed his own soul due to despair of him being the first and only character of his world to have a soul. But it was because of this destruction of his soul that he was able to escape his world, and landed in a white void that would eventually become the Doodle Sphere. But the destruction of his soul and time spent the blank Doodle Sphere had pretty much left him unable to feel emotions, leading to his need to rely on colors in order to feel strongly. He hasn't really lost access to emotions, but they are very much muted to the point where he feels emotionless. A random unknown creator dropped the paintbrush with the colors into the Doodle Sphere void, allowing Ink to discover how the multiverse works through the colors.

I just realized this on my second watch but at 12:46 (and during Ink vs Fresh's fight) you can see the only full vial Ink has is blue, for sadness or integrity. I feel like Ink leaves it full because he'd rather not have to feel those things after what he's done, just a thought :^)

At 18:07, Fresh asks what Kindness even is, and similarly tosses away Justice in favor of a Perseverance/XGaster based game, displaying the Bravery Ink needed to go so far to bring it to fruition in his text as well. Assuming all colors matter here, using Patience to consider the Magic Cure All could refer to how Ink lives, worked, or both. I'm not sure what the Magenta color means (Fear? Joy?), but Ink is ultimately left with neutral and Integrity, as he finally takes in the situation alongside morals rather than shoving his doubt under the others. He's finally aligned as a hero, at least for the time being.
Of course, I would not be surprised if the first turned out correct and Ink absorbs everything he was missing, and I'm overthinking part of this.

I like to think that in Ink's fight with Error, Error thought the script was too boring so instead of following the script, he improvised and basically vented about how his popularity in the show was going down because of Ink and on the sudden improv moment, Ink instantly came up with a witty response to keep it going and Jakei decided she liked it better than the original script.
Alternate multiverses are established as a concept in 0.7.2 so this very likely happened in one of them

I love how this series has become it's own anime. That chase sequence between Ink and Fresh looks like it could be a game where you play as Ink trying to get the vials from Fresh.
Also classic Undyne is a badass in this episode.
After rewatching the Fresh!Ink vs Error scene a few times I noticed how the vials slowly drained, which is an awesome way to show how he was on a time limit before splitting again.
That must have been a pain to animate, though the result is pretty awesome.
I just don't know how one single person is capable of animating such a great masterpiece man. I hope your creations have more visits.

Like, now Undyne knows how she was Undyne the Undying on the genocide routes. For Sans it must be the same thing, he’s likely to be extremely OP considering he fought Frisk millions of times.

Cause they are great artist and story teller and a person that probably craves this as much as the rest of us. Waiting a year for 25 minutes of animation will really help you to appreciate and love the quality that they spent hours sitting around animating it all
How does every episode follow the same order of dark plot points and comic relief?
The fact that Jakei keeps making these are proof that even as undertale as a whole becomes less popular, there will always be that community that doesn't stop appreciating the content. we all love your work love your work, keep it up, none of us mind the wait in between episodes.

Jakei is giving all of her to bring us such a beautiful animation!! Please dont make her push herself even more... Remember that fighting scenes takes a long LONG time no animate, a single panel can take at least 7 hours or more, and the worst part is... That Fatal_Error isnt here yet, since he's a challenge to animators, and remember that the animation is not the only thing that is made... The storyline, the music, the sound effects... God, thats a lot to take... Remember that jakei works by herself and she has nyx and strelok's help, so please my friends!! Dont push her! Dont ask for the next part! Dont insult her! Dont make her feel bad! We have a lotta time to live, we cant make time go faster, we just have to wait!

Ya know, the fact that Papyrus and Asgore were still willing to protect Frisk, if largely to make them answer for their sins, instead of immediately letting them get taken by XPapyrus, is miles touching.
I don't think I can say the same for Undyne, unfortunately. Though no doubt she still wants Frisk alive so they can explain everything. Nothing will be the same after this. Not unless Frisk resets, and with XGaster present, they can't.
Also, i must ask: with the red text, was that Chara talking to Frisk about their insecurities? I can't think of any other character or dialogue that has red text.
XAsriel's first hint as Omega Flowey??? That'll be an interesting development.
I still don't seem to quite understand Fresh's motivations. Or if he even has any at all. What's his role in the long run? Who does he ally with? Is he firmly with Core!Frisk, or is it a matter of convenience? Hopefully Jael can answer that in a future animation!
Ah, Error, you manchild. Your interactions with Geno and/or Fatal will certainly be interesting.
Fresh's motivation is to probably show Ink his weaknesses, using it against him as some sort of a lesson, that way Ink knows and realizes what he has to do or something like that (Although it's just my theory, it might be close so yea)
Fresh acts for himself and does whatever he wants, he doesn't really have any "intention" apart from surviving and having fun, buzzing people off simply because he can, taking over Ink's body to fight Error (and win) to prove a point
That said, he's prob not allied with anyone, the point of 'helping' Ink was to get 'the funniest thing in the multiverse'. Now that's it out of the question, he'll probably play the wild card
In fact, now that I think about it, Fresh's last line of "Let them know nobody messes with you" was more than a lesson, it was a warning. He wanted to warn Error and Ink, which are in the top tier power levels, that he, too, can mess things up if he feels like it. That he knows their weaknesses (as evidenced with the vials for Ink and the hands for Error) and that he can abuse them, so they should not scam or threaten him

There's a very loud minority that keeps complaining about the time these episodes take to make, but the way I see it, producing this level of quality in only one year is absolutely astonishing.

God. Now that Paps knows it gives him so much of a better character. That sentence was truly heartbreaking though and definitely overlooked. The story and the animation are amazing. It took over a year but it was DEFINITELY worth it. I shall sit patiently and wait for another master piece. :)
That was beautiful! Masterful, amazing transitions, dialogue, reveals. The irony of the timelines and routes being revealed to everyone in Last Corridor of all places. Fresh Ink beating Error, Geno’s reveal at the end, Papyrus and the others still helping Frisk after the reveal. It all comes and blends together so masterfully that it’s like a taste of heaven. Out of everything, this is your best work yet and you’ve outdone yourself! The wait was worth it and I don’t care how long you take your dedication to this community is extremely commendable and I respect it so deeply. Thanks for another amazing work of art.

Fresh finally being a real and plotforwarding character is such a great development. Also gotta love that everyone in UT recovered their memory, Frisk was cleaaarly not at all already in a big mess before that. Ending on AfterTale is a banger move tho.

I know I already left two other comments, but I'm honestly happy this series didn't portray Papyrus as a bumbling innocent skeleton boy who knows nothing about how the world works. He actually knows a lot more than he lets on, and the fact that he so openly accepted the reality shown to him and still acted as he would shows that this series portrays him as he should be, in my opinion. Thank you for such an amazing series, Jakei. Can't wait to see more!

God I love seeing the impact X-Gaster has on just one universe, using his power of overwrite to completely cover the world and assimilate it. It shows you that, when it comes to an army powerful across the multiverse, one world stands no chance.
Also can I say how wonderfully uncanny it is seeing the human military getting involved? Watching a soldier desperately shoot at Muffet's pets, only for her to crush the bullet in her hand, was awesome.

Everybody always says it, so I'll say it again, the fact that ONE person animated this is insane! This fandom will never die!
Damn, what an episode. The most unexpected outcome was the gift and Fresh's involvement in the storyline, now we know how he had been pulling punches, that Fresh!Ink is exactly what it is (Ink being taken over by Fresh) and might return in the future, and his well-timed insight onto XGaster's insecurities - that delivery over hostility hits home hard. (poor Error tho, spotlight stolen, ass kicked by the combination of his most hated people, basically reduced to comedy)
And somehow I did make a close guess on what happened this ep, after thinking over "A Cure For Amnesia". Just that it wasn't Frisk who revealed the truth, XGaster just casually made his way to it. Will be very interested in how everyone in Main Universe (well, Glitched Main Universe to be exact) will act after that revelation.
Overall, there's quite a lot of plot points to be processed. Thank you, Jakei for working very hard to create another masterpiece, Nyx for the awesome OST, and everyone who has supported them over the year, and see you in 2023!
Ass kicked? He was kicking Fresh!Ink's until those bottles bursted by pure plot armor because Error squeezed them on accident. Error's fights are my favourite part of this episode.
Personnally im a bit sad dat we dont see Error as much as a threat and that hes more taken as a comic thingy than anything else in this season , he feels way less serious even if hes the closest he's ever been to his main goal...

@@0ssias904 Well, his shtick is being a massive man-child, and the only thing serious for him is regarding cleansing the UT multiverse, considering he took the truce quite seriously and pulled no punches when Ink broke it (which he would still being whiny about since his efforts were overshadowed by next big thing, XGaster)
Based on other themes made for him and Ink, he will return with a major role to play again, probably joining hands with Ink to stop XGaster from corrupting the UT Multiverse. For now, he's still him, the bonehead man-child that loves chocolate and soap opera.
Fresh...is actually smarter then I thought. He figured out everyone's weaknesses on the short time he met them.
First off, he found error habephobia from when they met in xtale, and in battle when he glitched out after cross punched him.
Next he found out ink drying out from using too much paint while he was fighting error. If you noticed everytime ink used an attack, his eyes had less color. And his reliance on his vials since he literally can't do anything without them.
And he used their weaknesses against them. He knew ink HAD to use his vials...so he stole them knowing he would chase him and infected them knowing he would drink them.
He used the spray cans to create hands knowing error has a fear of being touched to win the fight without actually fighting. Also very manipulative as he used ink's own philosophy against him to justify his actions saying that it's what he wanted. He pretends to be dumb when he is actually the smartest in the room. Genius use of his character Jael👍

I like the fact that fatal error's part in the opening has glitch effects on the entire screen. You can compare 0.6's intro with this one to see. I think this shows that fatal error's fight (possibly in 0.7 part 2) will be even more messier than we thought (in a good way). Good luck animating this guy, Jakei.
a detail that I didn't see anyone talking about was at minute 14:36, when ink uses his powers his eyes lose their colors, and that was an incredible detail on jakei's part

Wow, that is a very cool detail
It just hit me that Frisk and Ink were both the same all along. In 0.4, Ink admits he plays this game for his own amusement, even if it takes a few lives, before starting it over and over again. It took Fresh telling him it was purely evil in front of his face to make him change. We can then look at Frisk, or well, us, the player, who did the exact same with Undertale, which was revealed to everyone belonging to this same universe earlier in the episode. Both seem to be on a redemption arc and we could assume them teaming up at some point, despite indirectly being enemies because of their respective relationship with XGaster. I could likely see Ink changing his mind and trying to safekeep the remaining AUs from him
(though it seems only Undertale, Xtale and the Omega Timeline are left at this point anyway)
Jakei has really improved with animation and the fact that she alone animated this is astonishing. Congrats Jakei we support you in any way possible. Most of people don’t understand that you need time to make an animation that is long like 25 minutes and most of people want already more after watching this animation. You all need to realize that Jakei needs to take like 2 months break after this animation cuz making an animation that is long like 25 minutes is exhausting.

Я уверена, ребята, нам всем очень понравится! Джакей, спасибо тебе огромное от всего фандома андера за то, что ты вообще существуешь и продолжаешь творить и радовать!! После твоих серий мой артблок и выгорание проходят, и я сразу рисую фанарты по скриншотам и в целом персонажей. Это так же даёт мне огромную мотивацию делать косплей по этим персонажам, а учитывая что делается оно с нуля, сил нужно много...Я в ожидании!!
Плюсую. Во мне каждая серия Андерверса, после того как я присоединился к фэндому во времена 0.2, поддерживает желание творить(и вообще жить). А через это творчество я познакомился с людьми, ближе которых для меня нет сейчас

О дааа. Мы этого долго ждали и вот долгожданная серия!
La calidad de esto es sencillamente tanta que te deja con grandes ganas de más. Se siente tan poco, no mcreo que estuve pegado 25 minutos a la pantalla con esto, no sentí el tiempo pasar y deja esa sensación de querer más después de que termina, simplemente talento puro, una pena tener que esperar para el próximo (que se que tardará lo suyo) pero valdrá cada maldito segundo de espera.
Una animación impecable que llega a ser un deleite exquisito para la vista, unos efectos de sonido tremendos que no tiene nada que envidiar a trabajos de grandes compañías y una música sencillamente hermosa.
Pocas veces se llegará a encontrar un trabajo con este nivel de calidad.

Personally my favorite part about underverse is the fact It makes every character that you may not even know or think is semi bland Seem far more than they seem, On another note Great episode 10/10 Love the geno introduction in the last part! Cant wait to see where it ends up going (Knowing that fatal error is also in this i wonder how the story will progress :) )
When error grabbed Ink with his strings and shouted "IT'S ERRORIN' TIME" and began to slam him down repeatedly was my favorite moment in the whole video, truly poetry on Jakei's part
Jakei never disappoints, the animation in this series just gets better and better. I wonder what ink will do after all this.

From my understanding I think what Core is trying to say is that because of the X-Event/Underverse events happening the Undertale Fandome will now have more possibilities after it slowly died out such as the Creators giving up forcing Ink to play with XGaster's game from fear of the multiverse's downfall
Also to tell the idiot that his reasons for helping XGaster are actually baseless. He could never be "bored" as the Guardian of the Multiverse because there's always something new and exciting waiting for him to experience even if it's just one tiny detail.
But if XGaster does succeed in creating a "perfect world" then...all of that will be gone and he truly would be "bored" because while he may not care to keep the worlds' alive just for the sake of keeping them alive, he *does* care about creation itself. Ink will go back to being an unfinished creation and nothing more...talk about boring.
Another silly fact: I just realized that in the X Event FNF mod, Ink already has all his vials empty except for the blue one that seems half consumed. What I mean is that there's been foreshadowing about the blue vial being the only one remaining since a long time ago because the mod is from 2021 😭
Finally watched this and I am SO impressed that one person can produce quite possibly the finest and most cared for piece of animation I have literally ever seen. Even compared to industry animation. As amazing as those are, it's clear there's so much dedication and love in these animated projects. Underverse will forever be my favorite animated project ever, even as I am not as into the Undertale scene as I used to be. Thanks Jakei, we love you :) I hope you know that ^^
this ep is as stunning as always, i was fangirling over the lighting and effects of the scenes ESPECIALLY IN THE START WITH THE CITY AND THE 'DOODLESPHERE' AAAAHHSHS; im really happy that this fandom gets revived again time to time whenever a new episode drops, I'll def rewatch this over again like the others :D thank you for your hard work, Jakei !!

Everything going on with Ink rn was like a punch to the gut. I've seen so many old friends and fans of Undertale just give up or lose interest and stop creating. I also struggled a lot with those anxious feelings in my own Undertale stories and drawings. But I overcame it and continue making my own aus and stories all the time! :) Just seeing the self-debilitating thoughts from other people in the fandom spoke to me a lot idk sefkjnef
If there's one emotion Ink feels without the help of his vials...it's "regret" because a lot of creators do regret not being able to finish their creations or be able to go back to them so they can finish them. He's not as "empty" as he thinks he is, he just doesn't acknowledge it until it's forced into his face.
