Amazing soundtrack. Game? Not so great. There is a reason it is rated less than ideal on the app store. It's too bad because the soundtrack is just amazing.
the problem is the west has a different outlook on what mobile games "should" be. this is very much a mobile game designed with asian markets as the main focus. heavy focus on Gacha, grinding enhancements/power level, and lots of "auto-play" are huge winning points over there. not so much in the west. When you look at it that way, Reincarnation checks all the boxes in spades.
@@Rapitor AFK Arena is still better in terms of gameplay. Considering how sluggish the menus are in this game and it's clear - it compounds the problem.

Shikku starts of with a reminder of Shadowlord's castle roar. It gives off the approach of the end and the stakes are high. We know how it goes when it's a Nier game (Yoko Taro story writing), but the way it goes is that we gotta fight through the ordeal just to see the resolution of it all despite knowing it will just leave you confused or depressed.
I wish such an amazing opportunity weren't wasted on creating a sweaty gacha mobile game. I can handle the gacha and the mobile game, but the sheer amount of grinding you need to do is just way too much for a normal human being.
