I'd love to be able to get a voice expansion, but consider how Big the voice-cards are and the extra electronics I can settle for 3-4 voice expansion. It would probably still be bigger than a shoebox mind you. And it would probably cost allot (12-15 hundred) since the market would be small, even there wouldn't be any knobs or interface costs. Just do it Arturia, I would buy at least two boxes :D
There were lots of ways to thicken it before - but this makes it as simple as a button press for the EQ. I already had EQ in the chain to my monitors, but now it's nice that it's onboard.
I really wish these updates would be possible without registering and activating software. I understand why they would want to do that for paid software, but for PolyBrute Connect? What is Arturia worried about, that people would make illegal copies of a PolyBrute?! Not only is this kind of protection useless and makes the process needlessly more complicated, but activating the software can fail for no apparent reason ("Failed to Sign In. please retry" [sic]).

It will sound thicker now, and previously I had to midi connect it to my Hydrasynth to thicken it up a bit.
I saw the hydrasynth Deluxe recently, very tempted to get that as my next synth to accompany my Polybrute

Per the manual, it boosts the low end, probably at a slightly different cutoff than the low boost setting.
boosts low and high by 6db roughly I think

i notice aftertouch doesn't apply to the black keys. That's unfortunate. You can get around it by sacrificing a dimension on the morph.
The black keys do control aftertouch on mine. There might be something wrong with your unit.
