Mother from Ardmore, Connemara, father from Newbridge, Kildare. They emigrated to England, where I was born. My childhood was spent in S/W London. Now live in Cardiff, Wales. Siblings in Scotland! We Irish get around! Connemara is beautiful but I will visit in a heatwave as I dislike rain, rain, rain. Great video. Thanks 🙂
I was born on Inishmore, The Aran Islands but the story of Ireland, my parents sought work and came to England where I love now. My heart still lives on my island.

"No water deep enough to drown a man, nor trees tall enough to hang him, nor sufficient soil to bury him" - Oliver Cromwell's opinion of this place. Wrong, as usual.
John that wasn't connemara he was talking about. It was the burren in county clare. There is plenty of water in connemara and plenty soil peaty soil ,but still soil the burren is mostly naked limestone pavement with little soil or water.
A very enticing video. Now on my bucket list of places to visit and promote
