  • Irvine and his son Jonathon take you on a guided tour of County Fermanagh in Northern Ireland which is known for its tranquility, beauty and the nicest Loughs in Ireland.
Their first stop is a pottery shop in Enniskillen before going fishing for trout in Lough Erne. They then head to a monks retreat on an island in the Lake.

My Great Grandmother, Mary Ellen Gallagher , was from Fermanagh . I hope to go there soon and look up my family. It looks just beautiful, I can't wait!

Looks like a lovely place. Looking forward to visiting Ireland next month. Recently found out that my relatives are from this county. Hoping to be able to pop in and check out this area in person.

I visited NI before I even found out that a large part of my family came from there. Turns out my grandmother never told me her parents were Irish immigrants because she didn't like that part of the family, her uncles were rowdy and always getting drunk and generally not very nice. But I've always been fascinated with Ireland, and now I guess I now why. To think that we took the bus right through Fermanagh and I had no idea my family had lived there once. Now I have to go back and visit properly!

my mother was born in Garrison Fermanagh, I have been going since I was about 17 with her to visit family. Fermanagh is so beautiful with the gorgeous loughs, I love the swans, the mountains and most of all visiting "my family' please don't put it off-go see Ireland and especially Fermanagh!

My great-great-grandparents came from Co. Fermanagh... they moved to Glasgow where they married in 1875, then they moved to Australia, there their eldest child was born in 1878.

Jonathon Woodgate I wonder if we’re related. My ancestry goes back to Fermanagh County Ireland.

My mothers last name is McCaugherty and the name seems to come from this county. Would love to visit.

"Unspoilt" except for the fact that it is under foreign British rule. I'm proud that my ancestors came from here, but ashamed that my ancestral land is ruled by a foreign country!
