That video just showed up at the right time for me. I am looking for a second hand pair of Hunter tall matte boots. I have never tried them because was never interested. Now at 59 I have decided that I was going to look smarter when it does rain meaning I will have a nice trench coat that I will sew and nice boots. I saw that they have new ones with the logo that is not jumping at you but have not seen them second hand yet. I am happy you have talk abut sizing, thank you.

I have the sam eledman boots and love them! But mine are definitely starting to look a little worn. I have a mid height muck boot and really love the style, so I'm wanting to invest in some of the mid hunters! Love this video❤

I want the light blue with the zipper from Nordstrom rack. I wear 7/7.5 what size should I buy?
The exact style I share in the video? If it is, that is an old style that I don’t believe is still available. As far as sizing goes, I find Hunter to be true to size. Especially when I pair them with the Hunter boot socks or thicker socks. Hope this helps!!~Audra
@@fashionedforliving Thanks for responding. I found a pair on Facebook marketplace for $50 size 8. I was wondering if I got them will they be too big. I love the fact they are older, and unique. That means no one in my neighborhood will have them😄. Great review. Thank you for sharing.

What are the particular hunter tall socks you have called? They are so lovely but I cannot find them on the hunter website.
I don’t believe my exact pair are still available. Sorry. I think Hunter makes a few standard options and then changes up the design and colors for most boot socks every season. Nordstrom Rack will often have some sale options. Thanks for watching. Audra
I cannot wear tall boots most of the time because I have thicker calves like my great grandmother. I just ordered some joules off zappos with snake skin.

Odd question for you, but do hunter boots have the bad rubber smell. I had some cheap rain boots I bought from Cracker Barrel. They were really cute but after some time had a bad rubber smell to them. I’m not sure if all rubber rain boots do that or just some. Thanks for the video. I would have never have considered navy but I think I like them more than the black. Looks cute with jeans and I almost always wear jeans. Thanks again!!
Hi, Donna. I don’t remember them having a strong smell...maybe a very slight rubber smell when I first opened the box. For sure nothing that was overpowering and it quickly when away. I love my navy ones!! I kind of want a olive and black pair in the shorter version as well. 🙃 They are for sure addicting!! Thanks so much for watching!! ~Audra
fashionedforliving Thanks so much for responding. Awesome that they don’t have an oder to them. They are cute...I see that you have horses...my daughter is in her 2nd year showing English, which is one reason why I am looking for boots...to wear to the shows, plus I’m also a makeup artist for family and faith based movies so there are times when we are out in wet fields or outside in yucky weather. I usually wear a pair of older 3 layer moccasins (that I love) but they are not good fabric for if the ground is muddy or wet...Thanks again!!! I hope you get your additions to your collection.

fashionedforliving She does both jumping and flat work. Right now she jumps 2ft 6 at the shows. Which isn’t very high but she hasn’t been doing it very long...She does well with equitation...Her trainer said she has the perfect body for it. She rides a thoroughbred...super sweet horse....Do you do western or English?
That is awesome!! She should be proud! I think horses are such a great confidence builder! We have quarter horses. My bay mare was bred to be more of a hunt seat horse and has a lot of thoroughbred in her. I was trying to do all around with her equitation, hunt seat, and horsemanship...so both english and western, BUT she’s gotten hurt 2 years in a row while at the trainers 🤦🏼♀️. Hoping for next year🙏. ~Audra
Can anybody answer my question please?! Doesnt the rain drops get into the boots? Because it's kinda loose at the top and has space for the rain water to get into.
I am from India and people here wear sandals in rainy season so that the feet dries out.
I suppose if it is pouring rain, coming down in buckets...yes, it would collect inside the boot. I love them for rainy days to keep my feet dry from puddles and muddy ground, not so much for just standing out in the pouring rain all day long.

Hi! My insoles are just simple, no name ones. Full length but thin. I think I got them from Target in a 3 pack years ago.

The Sam Edelman are cute but dug into my ankle in the front and caused a raw spot...had to return to amazon. ☹️

Are they real if they don't have the emblem on the sole?
Hi Cynthia, I’m for sure not a expert when identifying dupes or fakes. I purchased one pair from Nordstrom Rack and one from Zappos. Mine have their red circle symbol on the bottom of the heel, the word Hunter across the bottom just in font of the heel, and Hunter across the front of the top of boot. Fakes can be very good or almost indistinguishable from the real thing. Which is why I purchased from more reputable retailers. Hope this helps. ~Audra
