First time I watched this, it was nice to start the trail with you two. So many forgotten faces, ther naive blisters you had at the start. I hope you both are enjoying your present hike.
My neice is heading out the end of this month on her own . Good to see how many helpful supportive hikers are around and the positive vibe . Looks beautiful and Sara’s positive energy has put me at ease ! Thank and good luck to everyone!
Great video. After hearing that sound byte repeat over and over again for the 1000th time I actually felt some the bullet eating isolation and despair I'm likely to encounter on some of the more remote sections. If I got to the end of this broken record I believe with all my heart I can reach Canada.
That was an amazing video one of the best I’ve watched. Makes me just want to go out there tomorrow. But for now I’ve got to wait. Once I finish up college I’ll be out there, in the meantime I’ll have to settle with weekend trips and day hikes.
EPIC!!! This was so well done. Really fantastic stuff! I think I may have run into you in WA, it’s going to be so hard to not jump on trail in a month or so...
When and where are you starting? I'll be going SoBo from Walker Pass in late Feb. I expect to encounter the big wave of NoBo hikers between mile 0 to 200 (mile 450 to 650 for me)
@@EventyrsorenDenmark I'm having some issues with the issue of a schedule/itinerary myself - basically I hate them and a high priority for 'my hike' is to avoid them. But I have to have a basic start and end plan for modifying my permit - Walker Pass NoBo, hopefully ahead of the pack which will be travelling faster than I can realistically do. I'm thinking about skipping up to Cascade locks after I get past Mt Lassen. (So the fast ones can catch me again)
Is it possible to thru hike if you come from europe? All I find on the internet is that you can stay in the us for 90 days. I've started to look at other long hikes within the eu for that reason. But now I want to know how you did it. Is it possible?!
@@jamesherbert9775 I think I read somewhere that a sponsor in the US is needed. I love to see international hikers on the PCT. They improve the level of class on the trail imo. Plz visit. From Oregon, USA, the "green tunnel"
Thanks for the heart; will there be any sequels for other trails or continuation of your story? Unlike many thru hikers you don't seem to have a serialized narration of your journey posted to TH-cam, just this one video, so I'm curious!
What an inspiration! Especially the dude at the end saying, “there’s too much rush out here”. Wow wow wow! 👍
one of the best PCT videos I've ever seen! I felt the magic of it all
Great pictures and video AND editing! You are quite the adventurous lady. Enjoyed watching...it's such a beautiful part of America. Thanks!
