I can remember a five years old me playing Jack's dilemma with every single friend I met
I may be 4 years too late, but I’d like to point out that for the riddle around 8:24, there’s an oddity with the answer. The number one is the only one of the 5 numbers to begin with a vowel (since 2/3 begin with t and 4/5 begin with f). So I believe that there’s no technically correct answer, but I could be wrong😅

I didn't expect such a low score from myself because I only of 2 out of 7, riddle #2 and riddle #7.
Riddle #2 I got it correct because my school Chinese textbook have a chapter similar to it or should I say it has the exactly same part.
Riddle #7 was all by luck plus, I guessed that the old man would have gave 20 quarters if he wanted 1 anyway.
The rest, you could say I was barely paying attention since I kept zoning out for no reason.
For jacks dilemma there is a much easier answer: Jack takes the lion across, then goes back for the hay, and then goes back for the sheep
Then When jack is taking the lion, the sheep eats the hay.

Red Panther: That was actually the point of the riddle in the first place: each one had something different, even if the difference was minor, except for #1: 2 was a circle, 3 had a different line, 4 was a different color, and 5 was smaller. Though, I will admit, some of these differences seem trivial, and easy to pass off as simply being the editor's style.

NotAGoat right? Literally any one of the figures could be the “odd one out” depending on what we take as a defining group feature BUT #1.
If having a red border is the common feature then #3 is the odd one out, because it does not have the border.
If it is being a square, then #2 is the odd one out because it’s not a square.
If we say they’re all yellow then #4 is the odd one out because it is blue.
If #5 is the different then it would be based on size.
All of them could be different concretely but #1 so...

actually, they mean the 1st shape's features are present in at least 1 other shape. they are not individual. that means it is odd, as all features are present in something else. the only "individual trait" it has is not having one. unless that counts. it would be confusing.

In Jack’s dilemma I thought ‘he should take the hay, then lion, then sheep’ and the answer was Jack doing more work for himself
But then the lion and the sheep wouöd be alone and the lion wouöd eat the sheep
In Jacks dilemma if he takes the hay first then the lion 🦁 might eat the 🐐 goat, I think it is a logical mistake.

There is another solution for riddle 3. first bring the lion across and head back, then put the hay across and head back alone again and lastly bring the sheep across. There, a riddle solved twice

This answer to the third question is also right in my opinion:
Jack should first take the lion across and then he can take the bale of hay across, as lions don't eat hay and then lastly he should go back and take the lamb across, that way the lamb wouldn't be able to eat the hay and neither will be the lion able to eat the lamb.
Simple as that.
Take the hay first cuz the lamb will eat the hay, and the lamb can at least run or something from the Lion unlike the hay which is sitting there, ripe for eating

Or, if it is a unique feature, it represents a paradox. Either way, the thing that makes the first shape non conforming is categorically different to the others. The others are all different in the same kind of way. Shape 1 is different in a different way.

I’m sorry but I’m going to have to disagree on #6. The first figure “not having a distinguishing trait” is a distinguishing trait itself, therefore it isn’t an odd one out.

I thought they meant "without checking what the man gave her", which changes the question completely. If he had said, "without even checking with the man how many tickets he wanted" it would have been fair.

Maybe some of these riddles are silly.

Last one could be that since the deaf man cannot hear , so he needed a translator.
While I figured out #4 pretty much instantly, I thought it may be a trick as it's never said what year it is. I came up with a more elaborate way. First open the door to the well, then open the first door with the sharks. The water will drain out of the first door, filling the well with water, then you just swim across. If the well happens to be too deep for that, well now the sharks have no water, so you can just walk past the suffocating sharks. Win/win.
