DRX is BACK No offense to Stax…. but from Stage 2 through to today's match, dropping him was a good DRX decision, even though it was painful. Mako has really improved in his short time as IGL and has arguably unlocked DRX's potential and cap potential that was never there before.
DRX always has been like this. They qualified to playoffs under stax igl almost all the time. All it takes is a bad day for buzz or mako. Then it's done. I wish it doesn't happen again.
DRX really looks like they're ready for international LANs. I still miss Stax, but Flashback and BEYN are now fully established in the core of DRX and are great players. Foxy9 has also made great steps to become a member of the team.

After losing to GENG at kickoff and stage 1, and missing two international LANs, some even wondered if their time was finally over. But in stage 2, they really stepped up. They came from behind to beat PRX in a BO5, and although they lost to GENG in the Grand Finals, their near miss never let them down. Among the young players, I have a special respect for Foxy9. Last year, we had a 6-man system, and although he was a duelist at the time, he was removed from the starting roster midway through due to his lack of experience. I'm sure it must have been frustrating for him. This year, he returned to the starter position and transitioned to initiator/sentinel, and think he really stepped up throughout DRX's games. His solid play really reminds me of the old RB. Buzz also deserves praise. Even within Pacific alone, there are now many new players of duelists and the battles are fierce, but the fact that he has been able to perform so consistently as a duelist over such a long period of time shows just how talented he is. He had some ups and downs at the beginning of the season, but by the second half of Stage 2 he had fully regained his former glory as a duelist. Iwant to praise him for coming back strong. The new DRX is taking great steps now. I wouldn't be surprised if they were named the No. 1 team in the Pacific again.

GenG threw that game more than Heretics won it tbh. Not that TH didnt play well but geng wins lotus 9 times out of 10.
I think that this match and TH vs GENG show that the playing field of the big regions have been leveled, We almost had 2 EMEA group winners, but now PAC #2 and EMEA #3 have beat each others #1 seed
