    The people in the comments griping about RAW and how RED is evil act like RED is not supposed to protect their patent. RED has a patent just like Apple, Google, Sony, Nikon and everyone else has patents.
    If you think the lack of 16 bit RAW is keeping you from making a great film, commercial, show, etc.; then you may want to pay attention to what camera was used in the best films of the last twenty years.
    You may want to look at what content YOU thought was the most aesthetically pleasing in the last ten years and find out what camera it was shot with.
    How about we stop blaming a lack of work ethic and talent on the camera company and look in the mirror.
    RED ain’t perfect, but they sure as heck don’t have anything to do with holding the industry back because of a patent.

      Has Red updated their user agreements to reflect a genuine interest in their customers or is it still very much one-sided?
