I'm not a huge fan of Godwins Holmes stories, but this one scratched my itch. It's better written and more true to the original than many of her other efforts. It just flows better than the others. It has that je ne sais quoi that's hard to put a description on. It doesn't feel out of place as a Holmes story.
The humorous banter between Holmes and Watson is hilariously funny!!
