What a time to be alive for people who grew up with the Action Fleet line.
This is easily one of my favorite ship designs, especially for the Disney era. I love that we have a rebel version of a troop transport now, and also that it's basically the Star Wars version of a Huey helicopter, which obviously fits in with the Vietnam motif of the movie. Glad to see they were able to pack in all of those fun features and make for an awesome toy

An incredible ship! Has so many features, an impressive wingspan and the sliding doors are just the coolest thing going. The Micro Vehicle Accessories are amazing as well.
The paint work on this is absolutely stunning, it looks terrific for an affordable retail toy. Definitely grabbing this one.

I like how it lines up pretty nicely to a scale model version of the ship.
the way the Revell U-Wing's wings sweep way too far back than how it's supposed to be. The MG has got it right :)
Need to have a Scarif battle pack with this ship and Antoc and TIE Striker.

It was leaked on a target listing that we are getting a Tie Striker in series 6 or 7 although it’s hard to trust some of those placeholder listings on there.

I have the Revell model. I always thought it was perfect scale for MGS. Maybe pick up another to cannibalize the lights/sound FX to install in the MGS.

So freaking Rad! I am quite excited to put my mitts on this. I have a Bandai model kit. Small but very cool looking. This blows that away. This might be my favorite MGS ship. I am quite taken by this design. The mini figures take it one knotch up on the greatness ladder. Great stuff! This is the type of detail and care that makes figures like this and the pod racers to a premium status. Excited to own.
For sure!!! It’s a very cool one. They really nailed it on the design! Make sure you check out my other video on the wing pop out fix so if you get one you know how to fix it. Seems like 50%ish of people have the problem when they take it out of the box and my suggestion fixes the problem!
One of my favorite Disney-era ship designs.
The dirty paint job for this U-wing is awesome. But I have 2 of the Revell U-wing models and I am absolutely satisfied with its appearance and how it scales with my other MGS rebel ships tbh!

I think K2 is the biggest. I measured Grevious on my other review, not sure off hand.

I know these are so cool! The GHOST is my all time favorite and the major one I have wanted and been waiting for after that the rest of the line is just cake.
I love this vehicle! Just ordered it on Amazon. Now if only Hasbro would do something similar for 3 and 3/4 inch figures. The U-Wing they released when Rogue One came out was a bit sad.

One thing I’ll say is be on the lookout for QC issues on this one besides the wing pop-out problem. Both my side sliding doors had issues out of the box. One arm was completely snapped off, and the other was missing the little metal bar/pin that holds the arm in place. It’s flat out missing.
You know I am not surprised the QC has been a problem from series 1. Got really bad with series 3 and then seemed to level off. It’s still crazy for as good as the sculpts are that they can’t get these things figured out at the factory.
@@kmtanner04 It’s pretty upsetting. The U-Wing is my favorite ship, and I was hoping to enjoy this item over May 4th weekend. That said I’ll be making a special trip to Target for an exchange tonight. I hope my second one is at least not…broken or missing components. Sigh.

The piece looks nice! What I hate about this line though is that they only give you limited crew. For example, I am still waiting for my Tatoonie Luke Skywalker to put him into my Millenium Falcon.
Agreed. Unfortunately, farm boy Luke came in the Escape the Death Star battle pack a couple years ago. It was part of Walmarts collector con. I am positive we will get another in the future!

FYI:
- 1:80 scale is the Micro Galaxy Squadron U-Wing (30cm long)
- 1:86 scale is Revell's snap-kit (28cm long), which does come with removeable landing gear
- 1:145 scale is Bandai's excellent model kit (16.5cm long)
According to RebelScale:
- 1:87 scale is the Micro Galaxy Squadron Y-Wing (18.6cm long)
So the MGS U-Wing is actually too "large", not too small.
This ship is probably the best overall quality/ finish. If Jazwares keeps this up. I hope they remake the razor crest and falcon.
It’s such a shame the blew up the razor crest I think that one of my top 5 for the whole line. It looks so cool with those massive engines on top. Reminds me of the A10 Warthog.
@@kmtanner04 yup love the A10 and love the crest. I even bought the Haslab crest, then waited 1 yr after ordering to receive. To find out it’s been blown up! 🤦♂️ such a cool ship

Had bad luck with quality control on mine, the windows at the bottom were missing the "glass," just completely empty. Otherwise... pretty great fig!
Wow! Unfortunately there are still lots of problems with the QC. I am surprised they can’t get that figured out.

Is this an amazon exclusive or will it be available in the big box stores like Target and Walmart?
It should be available at all major retailers. Back in the fall of 2023 Walmart had a upc sticker on the shelf (which was a mistake for the time) but I am pretty sure they will be everywhere.
Apparently, mine was built wrong. There is an extra landing gear on 1 of the top engines! The bottom landing gear are there properly, but the top left engine has a landing gear too. Anyone else have this problem?
Wow! That is very unique. I can definitely see how that can happen. I would contact customer service and they may be able to get you a replacement.
Fix the wing by loosening the screw that goes through the pivot a tiny bit….learned from another video

I think the top left but it’s very slight and wouldn’t notice it unless scrutinizing it.
and when u say left u mean from pilot seats perspective yes? for me its the right one and while its bot obnoxious, when o hold it and look at it, the one, even tho slight, still does stand out as an eyesore for me personally. got from amazon of course an di have been told my jazwares when contacting them for amazon supplied defects “to talk to amazon” that they dont provide support, WHOCH IS SO FUNNY, given that in their bundle packs jazwares includes a little qr scan sheet that says “problems? DO NOT RETURN TO THE STORE CONTACT US AND WE’ll HELP” or something to that effect… so unsure if i should even bother reaching out to jazwares about seeing if can get one with out the asymmetrical issue…i’m assuming theyll tell me to deal with amazon which wont help because all theirs are from the same batches presumably and probably all suffer from the same issue to varying degrees… sigh. i was so ready to give them a shout out for perfecrion on these UNTIL i noticed that issue…and i wanst even trying to find a problem was just enjoying looking at it as i do, holding ant turning for different angles when it jumped out at me like a sore thumb…😢

I think Amazon may have it. Otherwise, I am not sure what retailers will carry. It is a standard release so most major retailers should have it.
