I would feel better about the price if it came with a type of device that attaches to the transmission like the blowfish transmission mount. The reviews are good, it looks good but but with how sloppy and finicky the MT82 is, I'd feel better with the blowfish device added. Maybe they can come up with a combo which isn't too expensive compared to the the original price but at the this point, I think the Hybrid 3 is the best one around for the money and it mounts directly to the transmission so it's going to be sturdy.
Could you use the OEM handle to maintain the stock shifter height? Looking for a OEM or taller shifter with a shorter throw and better feel for a track car

Looser shifter feel, you say leave the springs out? Or did you mean shims?
