It's like she literally tells you the very real truth of what happens inside you emotionally, that you can verify for yourself by looking at it. Emotions and even spiritual emotions, have a very real interactions between one-another. She literally goes in there, and tells about all of these "interactions". That have a reality in our everyday world, and the way we approach life. So in other words it is far MORE than just "isn't this an interesting way to look at this idea," and instead described the entire interaction of the matter, for you feel inside yourself and have a look at. And always so balanced too, combining and showing us way through the paradoxes from a higher level.
My thought exactly as in my desire for intimacey with beautiful women and then my doubts as been painful; hence FINALLY finding some content from someone I respect giving light to this internal dilema
I don't watch Teal's videos all the time, but I check in now and again, and what stands out to me today is that it seems like there is a new ease in Teal that I haven't seen before. To me, happiness comes from the feeling of moving forward toward a desired goal. Once I achieve the goal, it's onto whatever is next, which brings more happiness. This gives me the sense that I have agency in my life, and that I am a divine being who is contributing to the evolution of the universe.

Finally someone is addressing this ancient seeming contradiction. Whole generations grew up in one or the other, angry gurus teaching non-desire seemed so off to me, but so did whispy floaty surrender gurus, and you'd have to separate from society to deeply follow either one! This video is not only an integration of both concepts, but also integrates that ancient spirituality into modern life! Our world needs more getting along, we had enough division! I believe because of pre-destiny we don't get to make the choice to be anything other than what we are and what we are meant to be. Every thought, word, moment, and everything else is already written we just follow along living the life we were always meant to. So even though we don't actually have free will to choose what our life will ultimately become or be at any point during our lifetime, we do get to experience the human experience even though I'm sure we're spiritual in nature. Life is beautiful, be grateful for it all good and bad experiences because it's what's necessary to keep propelling our universal story of us. Peace and Love fellow Spirits.

When What the Bleep Do We Know, The Secret, and Ask and It Is Given all came out, I went waaaaaay down the Law of Attraction/quantum physics rabbit hole and became completely fixated on mastering my mind and vibration to intentionally create my life. All it created for me was thicker, stickier attachments to ever-changing external circumstances and set me up for repeated misery every time I felt like I failed to get what I wanted because I had a negative thought or emotion. I tried to stay on top of every single thought and make myself think and feel positively all the time, no matter what was really going on, for fear that my life would fall apart if I didn't. Maybe that stuff works for other people better than it did for me, but I've left that model behind in favor of letting the Divine Consciousness direct the flow of my life. If nothing else, it's a whole lot less work.
Wow, this information is gold. I needed to hear that, and now I will start practicing it. I was thinking that I would have to manifest every desire to a point where I got totally scared of my next desires and how they will change my life for the better or worse this time and create a fuckton of chaos, cause I thought suppressing them is even worse … but now I see that there are alternatives to that behavior, and that I can way more consciously decide on how to act … thank you Teal!

Thank you for putting this out here. I think I've got this, but it took a good time to grasp, that I won't lose my preferences and desires by opening up to life on its terms, that I will achieve and play with both.
Problems are the elixir of life. One to contemplate. Life in many ways is problem solving… or I prefer to think of it as solution seeking. Some days I have a solid relationship to working with both of these methods. Until something else arrises and then I am back to negotiating table. When I am not juggling well, I take comfort in that I am not alone in contemplating and navigating this. It is a practice and a process. We are all learning to trust that process every moment. 🙏🏻

And ever since I first saw your videos, I have felt like I have known you for thousands of years. I have never experienced this kind of familiarity before in my life. One of your talks about intention has caused a profound shift in my life. I am half way through your book " the completion process" Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us.
Thank you for putting this out here. I think I've got this, but it took a good time to grasp, that I won't lose my preferences and desires by opening up to life on its terms, that I will achieve and play with both.

Problems are the elixir of life. One to contemplate.
Life in many ways is problem solving… or I prefer to think of it as solution seeking.
Some days I have a solid relationship to working with both of these methods. Until something else arrises and then I am back to negotiating table. When I am not juggling well, I take comfort in that I am not alone in contemplating and navigating this. It is a practice and a process. We are all learning to trust that process every moment. 🙏🏻

I am more comfortable with the second one. Literally thought of something small desire, not obsessing over it, watching it standing infront of me out of nowhere. What i am weak at is action based conscious manifestation.

Oh man, I love that Teal is speaking about this topic - it's something I've found SO confusing and seemingly contradictory over the years. There's another video of hers called something like "Why are spiritual teachings all so contradictory?" and a video of Aaron Abke's about Law Of Attraction vs. Surrender, both of which are also really good for navigating this particular part of the game. I have wanted to get the answer to this question for about a year. Now l got it! It helps with the sense of guilt for wanting and a sense of judgment of not been fun enough for trying to resist desires.
