The 1st time I remember watching Ozzie and Harriet was when I was 6 when the show was on p.b.s. when my mom had her study partner over telling me and my siblings to go watch Ozzie and Harriet in the master bedroom, an' her study partner told me and my siblings in a loud voice, "go watch Ozzie and Harriet".
He did so. He was a producer, director, writer and performer in a sitcom in which he and his immediate family members portray themselves as characters in the weekly episodes. How much more clearly could he explain it?
I guess I was wrong. I thought sitcoms didn't start undermining dads until "The Simpsons." The writers of this sitcom created a Dad with the Emotional IQ of a 3 year old. Media/Medium Channel/Channeling Program/Programming Television/Tell a Vision I remember a time when the Dad was respected and was the emotional strength of his family. Now, families have made Dads totally unnecessary. Families aren't really families any more: Just several individuals who sleep under the same roof. Dad's are mostly absent. Some don't even know who their biological Dad is. Some women don't know who the biological Dad was. What a time to be alive !
What the hall are you on about? Ozzie directed this show… with his own wife and kids. This was far more realistic than The Cleavers. You can’t tell me you didn’t get saucy with you own father. Pfffffft.
thank you
Ozzie is such a goof ;-)))

He did forget. Oh Ozzie. Lol.
David was so cute . 😍
And he was extremely normal.
Thorny was very gifted. He should not have been smoking so many cigarettes to begin with. Perhaps a defective lighter will cause him to quit.
Ozzie never said what he did for a living 😁

@kosmokritikos9299 on what episode did he say all of that ?
I thought he was a retired lawyer
What lawyer retires at the age of 40?

I disagree. How can you remember something that never happened? Just because you are totally unnecessary does not mean that everyone is.

No! Wait Till Your Father Gets Home was.
