Take it from me, the Carjacker holster is outstanding! When I'm out off-roading or hiking the backcountry, it's always on my belt. Comfortable, grips the gun well, perfect while driving or hiking, easy to put on or off quickly. It's the crossdraw I've wanted for years. Mr. Andrews' quality is outstanding as well.
I feel honored to have a holster made by Mr. Andrews. He made me a Beautiful Black Elephant Trunk Skin Car Jacker Holster. He said that the trunk had the most character and grain. It is very beautiful. I'm sure that everyone that sees it will be jealous ! It was my first but certainly not the last. I ordered one of these holsters for my son in early March of 2024. The holster is for a VERY popular/common weapon. I received order confirmation on March 9th when I was charged for the holster and shipping. On July 4th 2024 I requested AND received a status update. Here is the contents of that update: "We apologize for the long wait. In April we relocated the business and lost a whole month of production time. Your carjacker is in a run in the slicking proces. I cannot say when yours will be done but I will email you again once it is ready and has shipped.". It is now August 30th 2024. No holster. No email. I emailed them again today (August 30th, 2024) requesting an update. So far no reply. I'll update this post (if possible) if/when I receive and update, holster or refund. **UPDATE** September 2nd, 2024: I received an email containing the following text"...Your holster is finished and shipping tomorrow. Thank you for your patience,". **UPDATE** September 5th, 2024: I received an email with the following text: "Your order # ********** is on its way. We hope you will enjoy our product. Call (DO NOT TEXT) ###-@@@-**** (number masked) if you need a tracking number" **UPDATE** September 10th, 2024: The holster was delivered via USPS Priority Mail. The holster was packaged securely in a plastic bag, inside a box with paper packing surrounding it. The holster appears to be well made of quality components and in excellent condition. It appears to be very nice and at least as nice as it appears in the video above. As this was a birthday gift for my son (late March) and he is an over-the road truck driver, we'll have to see if it fits properly next time he makes it to town. I think he'll need a cake/candles too. Also: When I ordered the holster around the 1st of March, It was communicated that there would be a lead time of about 3 month. This is why I didn't check on it until July. You should bear this in mind if you wish to order one of these. Unless something has changed, it's probably too late to order Christmas presents in September. Making the assumption that there are no issues after my son gets home and the weapon is inserted, this will be my last update. Cheers to you all.

Fiebings Neatsfoot compound is available at any leather store. Sam orders his from Tandy leather

the lining is chrome tan silicone treated, 4 oz thickness
