    We were able to see the foundations of two smaller dwelling sites one in Painted Desert the other in a New Mexico SP just off I-40 and each had Paleolithic drawings of animals and humans still visible It was quite an experience
    Thank you for sharing your story

    After a beautiful hike in, then to come upon such an amazing & historical place must have been a spiritual joy.
    Thanks for Sharing, it's beautiful David!
    Very Ironic that I just fulfilled a dream yesterday by purchasing a David Yellowhorse Buck 704 Maverick Custom for my knife collection & now, today, you release this amazing video.

      @@dyhorse1 Thank You Sir... The knife won't arrive until Friday, but I'm very excited to see it in my hands soon..
      I'm a little disappointed the felt lined box is all beat up, but the knife looks to be in great condition.
      Was the 704 your 1st collaboration with Buck?

    Just WOW!And stunning video as well sir! Just imagine that beautiful place when it was in its heyday. Its almost unbelievable, but I know its there, its real. Id love to visit someday. Ive always been drawn to the Southwest. It started with turquoise jewelry as a kid and blossomed into collecting jewelry, pottery, art, KNIVES, lol, etc and hundreds of hours of research on the history of the area and especially the Native Americans. I live in North Carolina now and don't travel much... but I'd pack up and head across the country to see some of those amazing places you have there. I'm always happy when I see one of your videos pop up on my feed. They are so genuine and high quality. Plus the Native american history I have seen is amazing. Bucket list stuff for me to visit some day for sure! Great advice at the end too... and it goes for anywhere you go! Respect history and respect the earth! Cant wait for your next video to pop up in my feed sir, I'm a fan for sure of more than just your knives etc! I am really a fan of your channel here!

    That sure is a nice hike, and the dwellings are sure old but well preserved, I would not mind staying in one for a week or so.
    Where does the background music come from, turkeys squabbling for five minutes.

    Such a beautiful place...thank you for sharing this video. I was just able to hike and visit the Pueblo Canyon Cliff Dwellings. Humbling to see them up close. To see the hand and finger prints in the adobe of the people who made them. Very special...and it was a deeper feeling vs just seeing some "cool" history. Seeing this video was just as special for me. Thank you!

    Beautiful footage. How much time did it take and what kind/cost of permit did you need for this adventure?

    • @dyhorse1
      @dyhorse1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Took all day to hike and film.. I didn't need a permit, for I'm Navajo and own the land of the Navajo Nation along with my brother and sisters of our great Nation.. Took another 4 days to edit the footage....Thank you for your comments.
