We were there around the beginning of November, just missing the peak fall leaves. I think it will be a bit colder at the end of December but it should still be good for hiking!

Nice! You missed my favorite waterfall - Dry Falls. You can walk underneath it.
That sounds cool! We didn't have time to go everywhere we wanted to, but we'll check that out on our next trip!
