Dmart formed a company M/s Avenue food Plaza Private limited in 2004 for selling icecream & popcorns in front of their stores.
The pricing of popcorn is generally between Rs.15-30 for popcorn and Rs. 10-15 for softy icecreams.
During the FY-22 , they generated revenue of approx Rs.43 crores along with Profit before tax of Rs 53 lakhs from sales of popcorn and Icecreams outside their stores.
