Rammstein is a group of six guys, they decide democratically, if they want to do something (which is difficult sometimes). Please don't refer only to him, but all of them.
There is a funny story regarding that video shoot. At the end, they had to catch a flight, and they did not have the time to get rid of the dirt, thus the seats of the plane were very dirty. They had to explain why they left such a mess, the German airline was apparently quite understanding, but they had to take another flight...
I started really looking overseas for a real band of musicians. America really doesn't have good bands anymore, esp for rock & metal. I'm obsessed with Rammstein! Them in Madison Sq Garden in '16 and Zeppelin in '73 were the 2 greatest performances there ever!
And you don’t have to know German to enjoy their songs, and more importantly, their videos!

I didn't scroll though all the comments and of course the video is somewhat old, but the video is a kinda adaption of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". Ecept that the dwarfs were simps and dug for diamonds while Snow White was a drug addict and died of an overdose.

The video has nothing to do with the song. That said, this is one of those special songs where I strongly insist you check out the live version.
Sonne in translation is Sun. The song was written for a german boxer called Sonne. The most dominating boxer since Mike Tyson. The members of rammstein all being fans decided to make entrance music for the man, which is where this song originated. The main line in the chorus in translation "Here comes The Sun"
This is not quite correct. The boxer is called Wladimir Klitschko and comes from Ukraine
