It's crazy how I can watch Benji shop at a store all day lol he truly is so helpful and informative on his food though. Enjoying all the content lately. Thank you!!
Benji just a word of advice for everyone. Whenever you see a frozen item that has all those Icicles, I would avoid. That means the item has been left out/thawed and put back in the freezer. It changes the texture and flavor immensely.
I've watched you through osmosis of your wife's videos for over 11 years. I have often admired your vigilance in presenting only the best for your beautiful family. You're the best!!
Benji, part of why I love your food videos is when you talk about your experiences and perspectives candidly. It's nice to listen to and as someone who also loves food and working out but still learning to balance, it actually makes me reflect on food, family, culture, mental health.
Heck yeah benji! Trader Joe’s is so fun. And honestly a good place for single peeps because they make things affordable, organic and in good portions so things don’t go to waste. Combine that with local farmers markets you have such quality food for not too much.
my dad used to buy me those maple leaf cookies all the time in my childhood. I’m 24 now and I buy them for my toddler in memory of my dad who passed in 2017. I will always buy those!
I buy 5-6 boxes of the Ube pancake mix since the Ube products are seasonal. The snacks are great but the candles are where it’s at! And many of the TJ private label beauty products that are dupes for brands carried at Sephora.
I'm a vegan who's not living in the US. And I have found that when talking to people online and looking in forums, people who are vegan have started to eat a more whole food plant based diet. They have started to skip the fake meats and cooking from scratch instead. Which I'm all for since I do that myself. People have started to learn what processed crap does in the body and care more about health too. Which is great. I cook everything from scratch, except for some snacks sometimes, and I feel so much better than eating all the processed junk food. Tofu is something I still buy though, I don't consider that being processed in the same way as fake meats, since that's something you can do at home too.
I really enjoyed your chat at the end. And I completely agree with you. I wish I had a better relationship with food. I developed an eating disorder in high school. Because of the competitive cheer team I was on. And it's a lifelong battle. I went almost 15 years with no problems. Then last year...out of nowhere it returned. I also think the way certain foods were restricted when I was younger...has a lot to do with it. Ironically, I became a Registered Dietitian in my early 20s. It's helped me have a better relationship with food. And to see it as a way to nourish my body. So has watching channels like this. And trying different types of cuisine. I think what you and Judy do with the girls is so helpful to teaching a positive mindset about food. Honestly, it's encouraged me to try and do better for myself. And to experiment with different ingredients. Like now, I have a list of items I want to try at Trader Joe's.
11:45 Hi Benji, that’s the Pasadena salad and it’s also one of my favorites at TJ! Yum. I also like their Truffle Marcona Almonds - so good! As for the Ube JoJos, I thought they were too sweet but I did enjoy the Ube Tea Cookies more - try it, it’s a good Vanilla ice cream topper!
I’m obsess with TJ, I would go twice a week I’m like a kid in a candy store! I’m just sitting here laughing at you getting excited about the items. That’s what makes TJ so unique. No one can top them my favorite place to food shop 💕🤣
Try the freeze dried mango or the crunchy okra at Trader Joe's. The mango is sweet & crunchy. The okra are so good that I pick them over chips sometimes.
I've always wanted to try banana cream pie flavored ice cream and had no clue that TJ's has that in stock. Love that you were able to look around and pick up snacks that you haven't tried before!
@@BenjiManTVSprouts has great sales on grass fed beef. They have $5 fresh made deli sandwiches the girls can share while shopping. What is that huge TJ? Is it Everett ?
This trader Joes looks awesome! Do u think it's their policy to always comment on something in your basket? I think they tell them to do it! It's nice and friendly only traders does that!❤
Boy Benji, you had me cracking up when you were talking about those organic dried mangos!. You said you buy them so you know your kids ain't eating too much sugar!???.🤔🤫😂. That's mostly what you give them is SUGAR!!. Candy, donuts, fruit snacks, ice cream, cupcakes, lollipops etc... C'mon,be real on that subject. The little's are always demanding sweets. Especially Leah!. I think you both were more health conscious with the older ones. Healthy dinners. Hardly ever seen them eating pizza, tons of pasta meals(carbs),McDonald's. They ate well. Plus Mama's meals👍. You and Judy should go back to preparing meals you made with the older girls. They *do not* eat 1 snack a day. Stop Benji😅😅😂
@BenjiManTV you cook delicious foods no disrespect, but you also were "Very" health conscious more before the little ones came along. Once again,no disrespect, just seems different from when the older girls were small. Been watching since your condo days. You both are very 🙌 blessed.
My favorite snack idea for my kids is to make fruit sorbet with the Ninja Creami. You can make banana, pineapple, peach, or strawberry sorbet and it’s a healthy alternative to desserts with a lot of sugar.
No I do think you and Judy should be giving parenting advice! It’s evident in the way the girls are very open to trying new foods and are curious about things they haven’t seen or tried before. It’s hard to get kids to eat sometimes but you guys definitely don’t have that problem!
The best ube snack is this 0:40 the worst is 0:50 😅 I recommend you to try traders joes french 🇫🇷 chocolate crêpe wafer cookies that’s my favorite ❤10/10 😅 also try the all butter shortbread cookies with a raspberry filling eat it with hot coffee ☕️ that’s the secret 👌
I’m not vegan but I don’t eat red meat. I try not to eat too many processed meat alternatives because they contain a lot of sodium. Every once in a while, a beyond meat burger is delicious though!
Ok here's the deal your right when it comes to those highly processed meat replacements like impossible and beyond meat it is not good for you so much salt and oil in them. Personally i choose beyond but I like the veggie patties better cause it's just vegetables, but if you want a fake meat products i always get the asian mock meats they are the best tasting and not as bad for you. I love mock chicken, ham, mutton, and the flavoured ones too. Also tofu. Anything u get u got to know how to cook it right. Those impossible and beyond. Meatsare meant to be for people who want to cut bacl meat but like the taste. Not all vegans will necessarily eat them! There's sp many other options to get ur protein in. I'm a lacto vegetarian i eat dairy but no fish, meat or eggs.
I stopped consuming vegan meats because they are filled with preservatives. SO much sodium. There are still lots of vegan options to substitute for meat like tofu, tempei, or mushrooms. I looooove mushrooms! 😊🍄🍄

100000% agree!!!

Lol I love that you got all the snacks!!! Treat yoself! 😄 and the ladies of course
I've watched you through osmosis of your wife's videos for over 11 years. I have often admired your vigilance in presenting only the best for your beautiful family. You're the best!!
Really love your talk about food and guilt. It felt so freeing.

i’ve never seen a trader joe’s you could comfortably walk through. i feel like i’m body to body in the aisles at my local tj’s lmao
Literally same 😅 it’s so stressful
Right?!😂
The one we have atUnion Square is very tight as well.
You should do a Ube snack taste test with the girls
Benji I voted snacks and here you are! Loving your content. 😊💕 Longtime Travis fan from Toronto
Thank you, benji, for all the tips, healthy snacks, and your cookies. You are the best.🎉
Thank you!
Benji you are so funny. Your reaction to all the snacks was entertaining. Thank you for sharing your TJ shopping

Me!
Whoa that place is huge! It’s like a whole foods Trader Joe’s 😆😆
Yeah I got lost in there
Cool haul. My sister works at Trader Joe's for like 20 yrs now so I usually ask her what's new to try. 😊
TIP: strawberries are easy af to grow in your garden. They taste so much better as well.
♥️TJ & Costco vlogs, thanks!!
More to come!
Your family make the BEST videos!! So easy to watch, funny and super duper informative! I've been watching since the wedding video! #MyFavs
“There’s 7 of us so… yeah” 😂😂😂 *holds all the ice cream*
Benji, just a tip before u buy ube make sure it's the real purple yam cause most of the stuff is just coloring

That Ube cookie is sooooo sweet. Definitely only eat half and with some milk.
I hope you recorded the taste testing! These snacks look soooo good

So proud to learn- Filipino flavours are being recognized more and more ( Ube, calamansi )🇵🇭❤- watching from Manila, Philippines 🇵🇭🇺🇸
Love the laid back content Benji, I felt like I was shopping with a friend.
As a diabetic we get told not to eat to much of is fruit mainly grapes, strawberries as they contain a lot of sugar even though its natural.
Wow didn’t know that!
It's still better than redefined sugar for your body.
Body reacts to it as cane sugar, but it’s better than artificial sugar
Watermelon is surprisingly very high in sugar.
I've always wanted to try banana cream pie flavored ice cream and had no clue that TJ's has that in stock. Love that you were able to look around and pick up snacks that you haven't tried before!
Get it!
The mandarin dried fruit is to die for 🍊🍊🍊
Never had ube snacks....now i really need to try it...love your videos and your beautiful family. Love from the Netherlands❤
do y’all have sprouts out there? i’d love to see you visit one and hear your thoughts!
Yes we do

Your advice for kids and snacking is on point. It's natural for kids to like sweet, but you can chose healthier options.
I just bought the Ube pancake mix, made some and it’s delicious!!
Need to know if that banana pudding ice cream is worth buying!!
It is
Yummo..... Your should try and grow Calamansi inside or hothouse at the new house.
Dulce de leche! You skipped the best one. And the coffee ice cream at TJ’s is the best. 😊
My favorite snack idea for my kids is to make fruit sorbet with the Ninja Creami. You can make banana, pineapple, peach, or strawberry sorbet and it’s a healthy alternative to desserts with a lot of sugar.

I was biting into my Trader Joe’s hash brown as you vlogged that part and looked at my food and laughed 😂

Aldi’s hash patties are good and more and similar price (if you have Aldi near you)
Hash patties?
@@cindyprimm190 sorry i call it hash patties lol what benji got!
I should not be watching this right now.. because now I want something to snack on 😂
Now I’m low-key kinda glad that there’s no TJ where I live… I’d be diabetic in no time… I’m a huge sucker for snacks… 😢😢😢
Omg ube? I need to come down from Canada to grab all things ube!
Love that Benji is having a Yes Day for himself with all his fave snacks🙂
Oh man a yes day for me??? @itsjudytime where you at? 😝
Please follow up with a taste test with the girls! I'd love to see them try and rate all these snacks!
I love the ube mochi pancake 🥞 😊 & Joe Joe's is so 👍
I am going to check out the frozen mango and pineapple. 😅
Sugar in moderation is a good philosophy.
once you have had one maple cookies you cannot stop eating them
I heard 😂
I remember JMK calling raisins as fruit gummies when they were little 😊
The coincidence of me having a cup of ube cheese ice cream while watching this
Just think McDonalds hashbrowns are like $2.39 (where I live). You bought a pack of 10 hashbrowns for $2.79.
That’s what I’m talking about.
I hope you can make a review on the ube products of Traders Joe
Dulce de leche is very goooood❤
I bet it is!

I was always gettung them Pineapples tibits to have woth cottage cheese. But they're not always sweet.
Sounds delicious.
Vegan meats are getting better. Impossible whoppers amazing and the vegan bulgogi is so good. Remember that gorillas are vegetarians mainly.

The Ube Joe-Joe’s taste nothing like ube. I threw them away. Get the real ube snacks and ice cream at Filipino markets like Seafood City.
