    Good rounded discussion from the guest ,,,,The pain is real for those who have really high paying jobs and positions in Mid East ( high paying by western standard also ) and don't want to go back to their South Asian place of origin , settling in the west is not that easy ...

      Agree best to have a couple of options open so one can chose when it’s time to move on…

    Why he is going for US Green Card, As a US Green Card Holder /Permanent resident he has to file and pay taxes even if he is living abroad. If in future he plans to shift in Gulf he has to pay taxes on Gulf income. Just asking for the sake of Information.

      Provides more security while he is in the US. He can keep renewing the Green card and not apply for citizenship when the time comes if he plans to move to gulf i.e. give up/stop renewing green card. That way he won't have to pay taxes to the US. Very few people move back to gulf if they are settled in the US. US provides a more well rounded life and opportunities.

    Nice interview for new immigrants and those thinking about it. On a lighter note Australia is better than Canada 😁

    One think I disagree when he says mention only the company name and not the country! that may not be illegal but certainly not correct, and what if you have not worked with an MNC branch in your south Asian country such as somebody from Tata Motors in India ( the way out is mention the domain and the position responsibility such as R &D Manager in Automotive producer with XX volume

    Strange you left P&G as CFO and luxury life for again get luxury life in Canda or USA.
    So in last what you get??
    Brother you are still influenced... I think you still confused

      Leaving Dubai for luxury was not the point - it was for stability in case you lose the job.

    • @information690
      @information690 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@WaliKhan_2k sir agreed, But my point if he lose the Job in Canada or USA then again he start thinking to move another country.
      He was a CFO in P&G and there was no threat of Job loss

      Walmart has corporate offices also. One would be stupid to think he applied for a Walmart associate.
