Spring finals might not be in LEC studio, the last part mentions that they'll be looking into local venues based on the participating teams. So for example, if it's a KC vs G2 spring finals, KC might ask for a Paris venue. Their plans for spring with venues seem loose and they're probably doing it so that there's room to move the venues depending on who ends up making it far into the season.

Yeah, season finals felt kinda pointless, because there isnt really much time after summer for the teams to really improve much (especially for the MSI seeds and probably semi-finals teams),. It was unlikely that something drastic would change in that time so you just gifted the summer split winner another title.
Honestly I am a bit disappointed they don't keep Fearless for the rest of the season, expecially Bo5s. LEC matches mid split being outside the LEC Arena is kinda pog. Even if I wish they would do the finals of every split in other vanues instead, but I think they would have done that, if possible
If we are going to have winter split (season kickoff) + 2 "real" fully fletched seasons, we need an venue finals for both Spring and Summer. One arena finals a year was one of the worst things coming out of the 3 split seasons and arena matches are a different type of competitive test than studio finals. This is just devaluing the Spring champion for no reason, other than to save a few euros at the end of year balance.
I hope if fearless draft next year will be cool, they are gonna implement it into every split and eventually international events aswell. This has so much potential
It is fun for sure, but maybe Worlds, the big boss event, should stay as serious and competitive as possible. Fearless for the first split (and first international event) is a perfect choice, imo.
I like it. To be honest, with 3 international events, 3 splits make sence. It is like qualification. Bo3 was the mandatory change and it is here. First split is maybe too court to do it entirely. Fearless for the fearless event, of course. Excited.
I don't understand winter split: why Bo1 in 3 weeks? what is the point of introducing fearless draft if the majority of it is Bo1 also in 3 weeks that was the main problem last year... Finally a competitive split in sping, pretty hyped for it, but having a final also played in an arena and not in the studio would have been much better. Summer split is kinda fine.
Fearless is for the Bo3 and Bo5 winter playoffs, not for the regular season. And the split lengths are somewhat bound by when the respective internationals start, so crunching winter split like this was probably not a voluntary choice by them. Regarding Spring split, let's just wait to see what they're cooking up with the "home turf" games.

Not too shabby, the only major drawback is that there is still only one finals roadshow! Not all people will be able to go even if they want to, when it's just one event a year. My suspicion about the roadshow for some limited regular games is that they want to make it possible to host games in Spain and France where the big fan bases are. It's not likely an idea coming from the idea of making it accessible throughout Europe but mostly to these mostly crowded countries when it comes to LEC fans.

Changes sound great, still a bit sad it's just one big final in Summer. Then again seeing that even the one in Munich was far from being sold out, i can understand.
Fearless is cool and all, but, from an idea that's been said by some before, a good way of implementing it would be during the last game of a series (3rd game of Bo3/5th game of Bo5, all champs picked in the previous games are banned), instead of an entire series being Fearless
It's good to have Fearless draft and more bo3/bo5. Still, the amount of games in each season is small in comparison with LCK, and it would probably be the next step to have more games in each season. In summer, some teams may only play 8 games, that's small ...

I would like summer a bit longer but I‘ll take this format
where is the poal where we can discied which format we like the most
Spring: 45 BO3's before playoffs
Summer: 22 BO3's before playoffs
This is insane
remember when the LEC had a format like european football and we actually did well at worlds
Also that international tourney feels like the EWC as league's performance were really disappointing there. They could invite more people add like an LCQ so some teams have another chance.
LEC just taking things off LCS. i love it.
I must of missed an announcement there’s a new international event?
Canadian Drakos is not real and can't hurt you.
Canadian Drakos:
Wished for the new lck format but at least some changes.
Ain’t hyped yet but let’s see what the new years brings.
