My grandfather's story. During British time. One lord means an English man, wanted to go for hunting. Its an expedition. So the English man brought a camp to fix in the forest. Also a cow 🐄 for milk. Together with this one Tamil man gave the English man a local dog. So the English man asked the Tamil man what breed is this dog and the characteristics of this dog. The Tamil man briefed the English man and told him the breed of the dog is Rajapalayam kombay. The English man was slightly suspicious because the dog looks normal and quite. The Tamil man ensures the English man that this dog 🐕 will be your ultimate protector for you and your cow in the forest. The English man laughed and said my protection is my rifle and started his expedition into the forest. He found a suitable place to setup his tent. The cow he tight beside the tent and the kombay at the other side with a chain. Since its late evening he gave some meat to the kombay and still he don't have the genuine confidence on the kombay. He went into his tent ⛺ to sleep 💤. At about 12 midnight the English man was a fast asleep. Outside the tent the cow and kombay. Suddenly a tiger was approaching the cow 🐄. The cow alerted the kombay. The kombay was trying to break loose as the tiger 🐅 closing and finally the kombay break loose. The kombay went straight attacked the huge tigers and fought bravely and suddenly everything was quite. In the morning the English man woke up and came out from his tent ⛺. He saw his cow was OK and turned to where the kombay and kombay was not there. He looked around. He saw the kombay lying on top of the ferocious dead Tiger 🐅. Now the English man understood well what the Tamil man said about kombay ultimate protection. So guys its not a simple matter to ignore any kombay. They are great historic dogs 🐕 of Tamilagam.
