Great video, Dave. Thank you for the tips! Would you recommend staying somewhere other than Pollonia at the end of August? I am reading about strong winds that time of year.
The Church at 3:36 is not next to Captain Zeppo's. The church at 3:36 is Agia Paraskevi. You can see the stone dyke to the right of it. It is about a 15-minute walk to the harbour from this church. Captain Zeppo's is at the back of the harbour. 10:30 - flights are all year round
We doubled checked the details and the video is correct regarding the church. You're right that there are some arriving flights throughout the year (but the vast majority are for the summer months). Thanks for the feedback.
@@SantoriniDaveHQ The two churches are often confused and photos incorrectly posted. I actually always thought the one near the protective stone dyke was Paraskevi. However, regardles of name, in the video, the church at 3:36 and also at 2:31 to the right of the paddleboarder is not "next door to Captain Zeppo's". The church which you can see at 2:26, which is at the harbour itself, is "just next door" to Captain Zeppo's.
@@grimthrough3202 OK, I think you're right. We got the two churches mixed up. They look similar but certainly not identical. Good eye! We'll update in next year's video. Cheers.
Hi Dave, thanks for the video with a lot of great info ! Should we book our arrival taxis in advance for Milos & Paros for example ? Or can we find one there without problem. We will be there mid august, what do you recommend? Thank you!!
Most of the time you'll be just fine arriving without a pre-booked taxi. But, on occasion, they'll be nothing available and you'll be wishing you did pre-book. There's no right answer.
@@SantoriniDaveHQ thanks dave, due to scheduling i'm restricted to late april. is milos still worth the travel? or would you recommended another island?
Hey there. I’m thinking going to Milos in the beginning of October for my birthday. Could you guys please recommend where to stay? Which place ? And is there a place/town with a beach with a walkable distance? And where to rent a car or scooter? Because I’m going alone there so I’m not sure if I’ll get a car/scooter. Thank u in advance 🙏🏼
Hi Dave, Great video that helped convince us to visit Milos. We are booked to go in October but I read that some of the Pollonia and Plaka restaurants and shops may be closed. If that is accurate would you recommend Adamas over those locations just for this reason?

thanks :) would you recommend going mid-late april? will restaurants/beach access be open?
If you can wait to May much more will be open and weather warmer/nicer.

@@staceylee9930 I would probably do Santorini - much more open in April and more cultural attractions (and wine) that don't depend on warm weather.

If it's very early October then you should be fine anywhere, but beyond the first week I would stick with Adamas.
Where to rent a motorcycle in milos ?
There are many scooter and car rental offices in the port of Milos.
