    I've been looking forward to your video review of the CS4Pi, there is very little info about this detector on the web or TH-cam. Great video and explanation about the controls together with a short hunt. It will be nice to see how you get on with the Pi in future hunts.
    Regards Bob

    very good video!
    i just have 3 questions:
    1- does it give false signals?
    2- does it works nice near the sea or in the sea?
    3- and in the dry sand, still works good?
    thanks in advance

      Snekamos Production Sorry about this, I missed this comment! No false signals, works great near sea and In the sea (the head is watertight) and the dry sand it is fine :)

    Id guess to say it would be on pare with the excab actually, when you use good headphones. We own a cs4pi excab tdi gp30000 and many others, the excab is the worst performer out of the lot. But yes it has a disc for those that cant read the beach

    Nice video. I had a little win on the football (thank you Everton!) and I've been considering getting a dedicated beach machine with the proceeds. I have a Visua MD10 at the moment (had it as a birthday present) but it's a bit basic.

    Never known a pinpointer to go to 18 inches and more, and I'm not going to comment on the Excaliber, as I've never used one. I wouldn't want to be one of those people that knows all about a detector without even having used it...

    hi, great video. At present I have the Deus which I love. But alas for all its strengths wet sand is not one of them. I live at a seaside town in Exmouth and wondered whether you think I should get this in addition to my Deus as there are lots of goodies to be had but without a pi machine or a minelab I feel I maybe be passing over the top of them. Thanks alot.

      It's a brilliant machine, can't recommend it enough. Simple, and effective. But with that comes the fact, you'll be doing a lot of digging, as it...literally won't miss a thing. My beaches seem pretty clean, but I hear it can become a bit of a bother in other places around the country.

    No recent comments so thought I'd assume one. I have the newer one coming Monday as my garrett ace 150 is struggling in sand and water. Just wondering if cscope make mini diggers as well? I'll probably do a video and post on my channel as I believe these are great devices from videos comments. I'm located in North Devon so have a variety of beaches, but just need the depth.Anyone done comparisons on depth with the big boys detectors?

    • @Addictedtobleeps
      @Addictedtobleeps  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      5 Minute Man Hi 5 minute man!
      Ok, this machine (and all PI machines) are the big boys on the beach. They get more depth than any ‘normal’ detector on the beach.
      The reason being, is that they are dedicated pulse induction, which means there is no power going into discrimination, like the other machines.
      This means all the power is going into the depth, hence why it goes stupidly deep. Also, these machines also bypass the salt content problems that other machines have to consider as they’re working.
      You couldn’t use this on the field. But on the beach, they are unbeatable. You will be digging a lot, but you won’t miss a thing.
      Hope it helps :)

    • @Addictedtobleeps
      @Addictedtobleeps  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      5 Minute Man No problem! Look into pulse induction machines, and the difference between them and conventional detectors. It should help with the decision :)

    come on seriously, im shocked u are comparing this to excaliber? do u even know how much this metal detector is going for? u tell me how much the excaliber is going for and tell me how much this is? LOL yes... the money u save on that excal u could get this gold plated lol but seriously £1,000 cheaper and you want to compare, this is crazy price and im thinking and VERY tempted £295 i think with £1000 spare tbh i think this is a fantastic buy where will u get a beach salt metal detector for that

    • @deborahsparesmith5377
      @deborahsparesmith5377 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      well lets point out the totally obvious, the excaliber is totally waterproof, this machine is not, also the excaliber is made by minelab, with 100's of settings that includes not digging iron, i know, i have a minelab se with pro coil! this machine is for beginners and those that want a beach machine at a starting price, however there are a lot better machines for the same price, for example, a minelab xs or explorer, both around the 250 mark second hand, and upgradable with different coils and with discrimination and will detect a 2p at 14 inches no problems! Even without a minelab, the racer is just as good. for 1000 budget gets you a top of the line machine, but those are are those that have had years of experiance. its a good review of this machine but its beginners machine.

    • @yamahamusicians
      @yamahamusicians 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@deborahsparesmith5377 Perhaps there is no such thing as a "beginners machine" these days? There are budget friendly machines of which this is one, mid-range...I have two in the Makro Racer and Nokta Impact and then there are the expensive machines. Someone just starting out can spend £1000 or £295. It comes down to budget not experience. In many ways the more expensive machines are easier to use because they often have switch on and go modes that anyone can get to grips with. And then for those who like to tinker with the settings of course there are a plethora of options available. I do agree with you though that the Racer will most certainly detect a 2p in wet sand at 14". I have personal experience of that. The Nokta is the same. The days when you "needed" a Pi machine to get the best of wet sand searching are long gone.

    all detectors have water proof coils

  • @clarkfox7961
    @clarkfox7961 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I had one of these, not for long drove me mad .They certainly work picking up everything, I was digging holes really deep and finding big chunks iron all over the beach, much better of with a minelab fbs detector works perfectly on the beach and has discrimination

    • @Addictedtobleeps
      @Addictedtobleeps  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Clark Fox Its a balance isn't it? I don't mind a loss of discrim for all that depth. But, some beaches are trashier than others. Ours aren't too bad down here, so it's not too bad.

    • @clarkfox7961
      @clarkfox7961 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Addictedtobleeps if there is little trash then great but on our beach westward Ho Devon there is deep iron everywhere and it is bloody deep. I soon got fed up of digging very deep holes for rubbish. Good luck though
