Thanks guys for finally having a D Rose podcast. But there were topics I think we sorely missed and these are: - how was it like trying to beat Lebron every playoffs and failing? Any memorable game, (i.e. going 2-1 against the Cavs) - the Boston playoff series of 2008 - anecdotes from the Bulls team during Thibs era (i.e. playing time, rotations, Keith Bogans at shooting guard 😅) - the Miami games! Bulls always seemed so hype playing against them. What was their mindset? - the injury - the All Star 'dance' introduction 😅. - leaving the Bulls Despite his quiet demeanor during his career, D Rose just has a lot of topics you can talk about with him. Hopefully we see this in the next one. 🤞🤞
It’s so disheartening hearing how his younger kids don’t get excited about ball the way his oldest does. You can see it breaks his heart then not being excited for “dad’s game” not only does the younger generation not know how amazing he was but neither do his kids. Truly a legend. Truly an idol growing up in middle school watching him win the MVP. Have an amazing and blessed retirement 🙏
Drose man you are my idol I am from Turkey but I have been in US for the last 2 years I was gonna come one of the games this year to see you I’m in San Francisco but you are my goat all my respect and love enjoy retirement
Derrick Rose is the patron hooper of the working class fr. Just always humble hungry and honest and somehow always rises up despite unfair setbacks and challenges. We fw DRose bc we admire his approach. The results, awesome as they are, I think come second to that part of him. It’s why he’s so many ppls favorite player I feel he’s just so aggressively likeable.
Bruh d.rose won the m.v.p at 22 think about what u where doing at 22 that is crazy. And he so humble & have been since i first seen him play..im happy for 🌹 just pure greatness
Hearing D Rose speak on fatherhood is real as hell. Doesn’t try to live through his kid, but gives his kid advice. All that stuff he had to go through himself, he isn’t letting it happen to PJ. Shoutout D Rose for being a real one 💯
Seeing this man's growth is incredible, he was always a man of few words but now those few words are so smoothly articulated, he expresses himself as freely as he used to hoop and Drose was one of my absolute favorite hoopers to watch. Knowing he reads a lot I definitely would love for him to read my books, especially Lump of Cole.
Bro, it’s great to see Derrick Rose on the show! His journey has been incredible, and it’s wild to think about his impact on the game. The new generation might not fully grasp how cold D-Rose was, but he’s an absolute legend. Can’t wait to hear their stories from back in the day!

- how was it like trying to beat Lebron every playoffs and failing? Any memorable game, (i.e. going 2-1 against the Cavs)
- the Boston playoff series of 2008
- anecdotes from the Bulls team during Thibs era (i.e. playing time, rotations, Keith Bogans at shooting guard 😅)
- the Miami games! Bulls always seemed so hype playing against them. What was their mindset?
- the injury
- the All Star 'dance' introduction 😅.
- leaving the Bulls
Despite his quiet demeanor during his career, D Rose just has a lot of topics you can talk about with him.
I’m watching this live and I’m proud it keeps refreshing the time. I’m glad y’all finally went over a hr. Drose deserved the first long pod.
Drose man you are my idol I am from Turkey but I have been in US for the last 2 years I was gonna come one of the games this year to see you I’m in San Francisco but you are my goat all my respect and love enjoy retirement
Go to Sacramento
Let's Go D 🌹 its about to be a Movie 🎬
@@lordgreat9821 why Rose always says the N Word? He is white right?
Derrick Rose is the patron hooper of the working class fr. Just always humble hungry and honest and somehow always rises up despite unfair setbacks and challenges. We fw DRose bc we admire his approach. The results, awesome as they are, I think come second to that part of him. It’s why he’s so many ppls favorite player I feel he’s just so aggressively likeable.
Yall got so much chemistry. Best sports podcast out.. salute to yall! And salute to D. Rose, it’s great seeing his personality. Happy retirement💯
Bruh d.rose won the m.v.p at 22 think about what u where doing at 22 that is crazy.
And he so humble & have been since i first seen him play..im happy for 🌹 just pure greatness
Best pod episode for me. Rose lowkey dropped life changing knowledge and perspective
Bro I haven’t watched 1 sec yet . Seen drose and knew I gotta wait till I’m at home wit the blunt for this one 😂😂 y’all definitely top 2 right now
Gang I just made the choice to chill on the za for a while yesterday and seen es episode I been thinking the whole time I wish I had a wood or a blunt 😭

One of the nastiest hoopers ever period. People love to talk about peaks and this dude was raw as it gets
Best player in the history of our city💯
RESPECT & MUCH LOVE TO THE LEGEND,

Over Zeke and D Wade 🤔
@@twizzy585otsdefinitely if you from Chicago you understand the impact
@@twizzy585otsyeah, it’s tough. I believe Rose got the biggest impact by far, but Isiah Thomas really our best player career wise.. Or fucking George Mikan 😂
@@Teamdonzombiez I respect it 💯
@tronskee32 not mad at that all 💯
Derrick Rose is the first player I was a real fan of and he started my love for the game of basketball fr no bullshit bro changed my life
Big facts bro, the FIRST player I found myself being a real die hard fan of
@@PaperChaserLaa fan for another grown man? 🤣 🫵👎 that’s how yo daddy raised you?
How he change your life ?
@@obitog5974 aye whatever you dealing with, go take that up w a therapist gang 😂 grown man shit, Derrick Rose taught me what perseverance is and what it looks like to never give up, wise ppl can take from other ppls situations and apply it to their life if it can be impactful in a positive way, I would’ve responded with hostility but I see you’re ignorant and there’s no need to combat ignorance with ignorance, you have a blessed one
@@Atribecalledsuccess I’d say getting me into a sport I’ve spent countless hours playing and watching is life changing

This might be the best podcast episode I ever listened to. Drose fit in any crowd. This shit so dope yall did that 🙏🏽🙏🏽
God this makes me so happy. wow. DRose make a grown man cry how much we love him
By far one of my favorite episodes. I never heard Rose talk so much. Even when he came here to the Pistons, he was just a hooper. Much love, D Rose. I wish you a successful, fulfilling retirement. Thank you for all your contributions to the game and the culture - on and off the court. PJ UP NEXT!
“We going to be reading about him” is hilarious 😂
I don’t even comment but when I saw Drose I had to show love in the comment section. SHOUTOUT 520!!! Real Chicago Legend
Another legendary upload from The Crew!!! Killing killing!
Kids don’t know. Rose used to son your favorite basketball players. Russ, Steph….shit even Kyrie and Wall didn’t get their first win on rose until year 2-3. A healthy Rose is damn near the best PG in history
Chris Douglas Roberts was the truth matter of fact that 07 Memphis team holds a special place in my heart fr i got to watch D Rose play in Hattiesburg when Memphis played against Southern Miss.
That 07 class was truly special. Like a mythical level of story telling goes on around it. No social media back then really helped too.
Drose man you embody the NBA dream truly 🫡👏🏽🐐
Wouldn’t be surprised if this pod go viral 🔥
Teague was crying along with the rest of us when D-Rose had 50. All for the love of the game baby.
d rose gets no hate from fans and nba world and it's beautiful to see
I’m in this mf tearing up fr. Being from the same area as rose when he won mvp then tore my knee the exact same way and everything when rose did.
😂😂😂 that’s weird man
This is exactly the personality the world needs from a superstar athlete. His health did the world a disservice in that sense.
Hell of an athlete. Way better of a human being! Major love to D Rose. 🌹
Been waiting for this since 1973 🐐🫡
