Thank you for your help in showing this video. Wonderful help for me. I’m going to have to service my own zero turn mower. You have helped me very much with this video. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I do like my Dad taught me. I clean and do maintenance on it be4 shutting it down for the winter season. But these past 3 years down here in my area our winter has been sparse and had lawns still growing up till late January. Personally my lawn mower didn't shut down at all this year. Our winter came stupidly on every other weekend. Rest of the time. The sun shined and grass n weeds kept a growing. All the trees didn't dump their leaves. Those that were suppose to.
Would have been nice to have a run down on what spark plug, oil, oil filter, gas filter and blades (manufacturer/,model) you were using. If not in the video, maybe in the description. Cause I need to do all this to my Gravely and would be handy to have all that. Thanks for the video, I do appreciate it!
The ones that I have on mine are a sealed bearing. You can get an aftermarket one that has a grease fitting on it. Funny you ask that because I have one that is ready to go at any time.

I use an oil extractor to remove engine oil. It takes less than 5 minutes to remove the oil. West Marine sells excellent ones at a fair price.
Good job! I've always been terrible at mower maintenance. LOL

I am about to do it again, so I will touch on the products I use a little more. Thanks for watching!
Does not look like the blades need to be replaced. Just sharped and reinstall.
Also, get the mulching kit, and thank me later ! 😃
I was looking into that, it looks like it would do a good job on some of the leaves I get in the fall
What was all that wrapped around the old blades? You mowing sheep? LOL
Bailing twine. Lol!
is there a way to grease the spindles?

I think you may have put the fuel filter on backwards
I don’t think so but now I am going to have to check. Lol!
@@TheHobbyFarmHomestead you didn’t put it on wrong. The arrow on the fuel filter always goes towards the carburetor.
Where is the neutral lever on the gravely ?
It is hydrostatic, there is a parking lock on the right side that you pull up to lock it in place. It also won’t start unless this is engaged.
👍👍❤
Thanks for the support!
A little PM can save you a lot of heartache in the future! I really need to upgrade to a zero turn!
They are definitely faster for sure but you can’t drink a beer as easily on them! Lol!
@@TheHobbyFarmHomestead 🤣🤣 You gotta get you one of those beer hard hats!
@@OurTopPinLife yes absolutely!
Oil capacity? For engine oil?
Around 2 1/2 quarts
If it wasn't for chores and maintenance you'd probably be bored and take up golf.
You got that right! Lol!
