I played basketball all throughout highschool and most of college and I've always believed everyone had to be involved don't chase stats if your going to do that go play by yourself play as a team move the ball find the open shot your not always going to get the points for your team and your not always going to be the one getting the assists and that's fine
Agree with your statement, but I don't think that's the point the video is trying to make. If you notice the constant, there's Rus and James chasing stats over team success. Setting a bad precedent and culture in their respective teams since they are leaders (that's why they haven't and will not win championships). Many role players once retired have said how miserable they are in a culture where you feel that the leader has a personal agenda apart from team success and championships. Legends know accolades follow winning.
