I cannot wait to see KBB's review on VW Touareg TDI. Is it really competing with x5 and M-Class?

Why compare it to the RX350? It's no where near the same class. A price comparison to the Lexus GX would make more sense.

one more cons for the ML350 review
The lane departure system is not effective. It give a barely notice vibration when u drive out of your lane; Can't even tell it's working most of the time. Get the blindspot warning on this car, very good.

I don't like rear light they look kind weird and out dated. .. they turbo diesel is the better choice , in terms of fuel efficiency.

I still think the last gen M class looked a lot nicer on the exterior, this one looks too soft at the front, and a bit minivan-ish at the front

  • @omarkhanlilcurry

i think this car is pretty cool, but i would get the acura mdx. More bang for ur buck.
we chose the 2009 mdx over the, rk350, x5 and Ml350

I just bought this ML350 gas engine few months ago. It's black on black(black color looks the best on this car). Ok, a little review.
Pros: Ride comfort, Surprisingly spacious interior, Superb HK audio, Good resolution navi screen and backup camera, Good highway gas milage(22-25mpg), Effortless steering(firms up when increase car speed).
Cons. Noisy engine during cold start or hard acceleration. Average voice recognition system.
    To be continue..

From the outside design is similar to the Korean cars ..
Mercedes successful company and distinct but remain outside of this car real competition with the Range Rover Sport car as an example ..
They are wonderful luxury home and great specifications, but for me I will not buy it because the shape of the outside a very modest, as I said earlier ..

R class is essentially a minivan

It's really not though, it's RWD. Mini vans are front wheel drive. 99% of the time. Aside from the ancient ford aerostar and chevy astro and their GMC variant.

    Continuation from ML350 review..
Cons: Standard POI database is useless(can't even find McDonald's);requires Mbrace subscription for increase POI(cost about $250/year), Poor city gas milage(12mpg in brooklyn, ny driving), Not as agile when push hard, Poor standard highlight visibility(aim too high), V6 is little sluggish during frequent stop and go driving. No touchscreen for navi(main controller sometime takes too much time entering data.
Overall, I give this vehicle a 7.5 out of 10.

Audi has the worst reliability history of any car maker. Mercedes tends to be below BMW, and above Audi.
