I think I’m definitely most excited for favourites first. Then least favourites and finally goals. I feel like it makes sense to put goals last at least in my brain
Goal setting videos scratch an itch in my brain ❤ Also love physical TBR and yearly stats videos. 2024 was super successful for me in finishing Discworld which took about 2 years. Now my reading options are wide open and I’m pumped for 2025! 🎉
I like the goals and stats and stuff the most of the wrapup content. I also read The Justice of Kings last year (and the rest of the trilogy) and a pseudo Witcher is spot on. Like begrudgingly following orders, trying to help villagers and all
Goals and stats are really what get me motivated to hunker down and focus on my own reading. So I'd love to see more of that. Overall, 2024 was a great reading year for me. I set a relatively modest goal of 30 books. Thanks to a summer full of graphic novels and manga, I blew that goal out of the water and finished 52 books total for the year. For 2024, I decided to return to the basics and revisit some childhood favorites to help reconnect with my love of reading. I re-read the Percy Jackson books for the first time in years. I also went through all of the Avatar: The Last Airbender comics and started reading the newer translation of Sailor Moon. Reconnecting with that teenage girl who loved reading helped get me excited to set a new goal this year. 2025 will be all about prioritizing my physical TBR. I also want to dedicate more time to reading and other offline hobbies like journaling and knitting.
I like favourites and goals, but either way I love end of year content so I'll watch it all. I was extremely disappointed by The Book That Wouldn't Burn, I think it was too monotone in terms of setting, and I barely remember the characters. This was my best reading year in terms of numbers (71) which is the most I've ever read. I have a few new favourites, although one of them Tawny Man #2 by Robin Hobb, which was to be expected. I haven't reread as much as I usually do. I don't really have goals for 2025, each year I get better at filtering out what I don't like.
I'm about a third of the way into "The book that wouldn't burn" and really enjoying it! Also a huge Robin Hobb and ROTE fan, but boy do those books deal out emotional damage!
Hi just found your channel. I gave The Book that Wouldn't Burn 5 stars and Justice of Kings 4 stars. I think I gave Thr Book that Broke the World 4 stars as well. :)
I'm really excited for the "favorites of the year" vid the most!
That one is already filmed so that’s perfect 🥰

I love hearing your goals for the year/quarter.
The goals is always my favourite part!! Make me feel motivated:)
I love them too!
💜 happy new year!
as far as content, I'm personally happy with anything that you are excited to post.
Aw thank you 😊
Flying through Justice of Kings based on it being in your other vid. Super love it! Thank you.
Yay! Glad you’re loving it!
AHHH so excited I found another fantasy booktuber. I just started my Robin Hobb journey. I’m on royal assassin and I’m OBSESSED.
Welcome! The Robin Hobb journey is so great but so painful lol

Ooh congrats! Agreed I love goals videos!
Hooray for finishing Liveship Traders! What a great feeling. But yes, the heaviest conclusion I've ever read.
It’s A LOT 😅

I am also such a stats girlie but only when it comes to reading stats lol
Lightning looks great!!
Thank you! I’m actually changing it up for future videos so it’ll be even better 🤞🏻

Aw I love that your 2024 reading went so well! Returning to old favorites is so lovely.
I love your eye makeup!
Thank you!

I’ve also found that I get better about filtering and DNFing as the years go on!

So much damage lol
wrap ups first sounds good to me 👍
🎉
so extremely random but the way you described the Library in the book that wouldnt burn reminds me of the aunts house in Discovery of witches
I haven’t read that series but I’m intrigued just based on the house lol

Oooh nice!
I need to read Robin hobb 😅
Her books are intimidating so I don’t blame you putting them off lol
seven surrenders sounds really interesting, Sounds like its giving Left hand of darkness, am I mistaken?
Kind of? Definitely highly thematic!
Is robin hobb ok??
She just loves to hurt us and her characters lol
I’m so glad you finished Liveships and loved it. 🫶🏼🫶🏼
