Dean is so insensitive to Rory and her life. She couldn't spend time with him because she needed to work towards her goal of going to Harvard. You can always spend time with people, but Harvard is a one-time thing. Also, in season one, where Rory and Dean broke up because Rory didn't say "I love you" back, and Dean got mad about it, its just ridiculous. I always see people mentioning gilmore girls as study motivation, but as someone who watched the entire show,I feel like studying could have been actually more mentioned ,before I watched it I thought it would have detailed depictions of academic struggles, but I feel like just every few episodes she would make a brief mention about her studies
it's because the show isnt about studies (unfortunately). like all tv shows, it's about drama, family perspective, and relationships.... i wish it was only about rory and her studies lol
Dean was right: all this studying and for what? She's a young adult graduate and she's not happy. She is depressed af, while Dean is happy, even though he was never accepted into college. He has a good job, provides for his family and has many children. Rory was so sure that her life would be better than everyone else's because she studied hard and got what she deserves: a shitty future.

Also when she had to go build the houses for her community service so it looked better on her college applications and he said "oh Harvard over boyfriend" YEAH!! Hmm Ivy league college or boyfriend who works at local market 🤔 SERIOUSLY?!
Rory was a bad and entitled girlfriend. She cheated on Dean, with Jess, and no wonder he became jealous. She never communicated with him, instead she would run off to Jess. Rory kissed Tristan, flirted with him while with Dean. He was 16 as we’ll mind you, of course he’s going to get upset when his girlfriend won’t say I love you. I mean who wouldn’t!? She ended up using him until Jess finally wanted her. Then when Dean is married, Rory felt ENTITLED to have him back, she played a huge role in the affair. When her mum confronted her, she said Dean is mine mine mine. No Rory, you didn’t want him remember? I’m sick to death of people making out like Dean is the devil. He was a GREAT boyfriend, besides being overbearing at times. At least he didn’t up and leave, not communicate like Jess did. He stuck around and actually tried with Rory. She was the one who pushed him away. She was the one who went behind his back with other boys.
@@samanthalowther9818 ? Sorry but Im with him in this one, why would you have a boyfriend If you dont love him? I thought it was commum sense that people love their girlfriends/boyfriends. (of course when he cheated on Lindsay It was the end), but Rory cheating on him (emotionally and physically) was just horrible and unfair.
I think everything in rory's started going downfall when she chose yale over harvard. Come on, her character was so easy to manipulate. Just because her grandpa suggested for her to go to yale she literally chose that over her 16 years fuckin' dream of Harvard i mean seriously?! Rory aged but she was never mature enough to make her own decisions. In last season we all could see, she dropped out of Yale worst decision and even worse she didn't marry logan when that guy would've been done anything for her since his family has such great connections. I swear to God if rory would've married him, her life would be even better and comfortable and most importantly she would be happy :D

I might get flamed for this, but I just don’t think studying too hard is necessary. Like, you don’t have to spend all of your time getting academic validation because there is so much more to life than just numbers on a paper. Sure, they can get you far, but so will studying smart, knowing what you want, and working with direction. I’ve been through this before and I felt like I wasted my high school years just for some dumb medal that is now collecting dust on my shelf. If you really do like studying then go ahead, I’m happy for you. But, if you’re someone who’s feeling burned out, please remember that you’re worth so much more than just trophies and medals. Success comes in different forms and is not entirely defined by your academic accolades. ❤️

Loved it...❤❤
"who cares if i'm pretty if i fail my finals"
7:07 it was her mistake to force to Yale. My mother always saved her words when I needed to decide something for my own life.
I wish she’d gone to Harvard. I feel like she sidestepped
I wish I had a rory mindset about studying, but sadly I have a lorelai one
Thankyou for doing this!
I still to this day don’t understand why she chose Journalism… 😑
Just the motivation I need! 🧡 Will you be posting clips like this from Rory's study time Yale?
It's amazing so much work was for nothing..
i hate how are grown up life was shown. no job, having affair with a married man, rude, arrogant, ignorent. she could have had a really good story
my motivation
This is really sad 😔
I’m watching this bc i’m really tired of Rory ins the last 2 season :(( she just have a glow down so big
Ah, so nice to see Emily living a normal life
Dean was right: all this studying and for what? She's a young adult graduate and she's not happy. She is depressed af, while Dean is happy, even though he was never accepted into college. He has a good job, provides for his family and has many children. Rory was so sure that her life would be better than everyone else's because she studied hard and got what she deserves: a shitty future.
Chilton Rory was my role model...After she started dating Logan somehow her character went downhill but again that's how life is
5:53 "You have to sleep its what keeps you pretty"
"Who cares if I'm pretty if I fail my finals?"
MOOD
The debates are so funny in the comments I have never watched this in my life
"who cares if I'm pretty if i fail my finals" fact 💅🤧
Dean was a selfish and entitled boyfriend
THANK YOU!!! Omg everyone loves him and is like she didn’t deserve him and blah blah blah…he was a jerk! His reaction when she didn’t say ‘I love you’ to him was unbelievable!
@@haileejacob1995 YES!! Exactly I was thinking the same thing, he was all pissed when she didn't say I love you to him like HELLO your her first boyfriend that is a really big thing to say and he's gonna act all entitled about it he needed to get over himself.
Rory was too, since season 2
@@samanthalowther9818 ? Sorry but Im with him in this one, why would you have a boyfriend If you dont love him? I thought it was commum sense that people love their girlfriends/boyfriends.
I think the only thing I disliked on Dean was some of his angry/jealous attacks- but after Jess how could he not be jealous?
How is Rory so focused
I love reading but I am not that focused
I so wish I could be Rory
what is the title of this film? pls let me know
i miss chilton rory ICONIC🤌🤌📚
my life after watching gilmore girls really changed
same here tbh.. in some good and tbh some bad. had no idea the kind of effect this show would have on me. especially s0 2-3 with Jess. tbh i can’t move past s04 bc i’ve seen all the spoilers and i don’t know if i want to keep following Yale Rory :/ is it worth the watch???
So sweet!
best video ever
I thought the school master was out of line when he sent the councilor after her and it always seemed he was dangling Harvard over her head at ever chance he got. And as a side note I thought Loria was so aunry when she maid Micheal wait when she called him.
Rory's downfall started literally when she didn't choose Harvard :) come on it has always been her dream but she gave up on it
She tried so hard and she studied so hard and she wanted to go to Harvard eagerly and she dumped her goal when Harvard allowed her goal.
❤
chilton rory>yale rory
I love this show with my whole heart but....
rory is a brat
paris not getting into Harvard is the most unrealistic thing ever
april should have never existed
Michelle is the best character
team jess
logans the worst
Paris is a bitch and rude to everyone.
Pls upload the yale study bits
