I used to have a pet squirrel when I was a teen. He fell from a tree at a very young age (he was maybe 3 or 4 weeks old) so I took him, fed him with the intention to release him, but he had imprinted on me by that point, and so he stayed with me for almost 3 years before he died. His name was Skippy. It would be an honour if you would agree to name this new baby that's visiting you, Skippy! Be blessed!

Finally saw a baby squirrel following their mom on top of my fence yesterday. It was so cute and I'm convinced it was the same baby that came around today asking for food. I've learned a lot by watching these videos on what to look for. I'm pretty convinced my favorite squirrel Georgine is a mom now when I got a good look at her today. So cool to see George again haha!

My squirrels leave me thank you raisins all the time. While sitting outside the other night feeding seemingly every critter in the neighborhood, a blue jay left me a big thank you on my work boot. I keep a rag nearby to clean up the many thank you's I get.

I got my cat a similar tower from Costco & did not put the third tier on (like you?) because my cat didn’t like it too high. He loves looking at birds & squirrels & feral cats & dog walkers going by, but also just curls up & sleeps in the bed. He also loves to sit on a Costco Fabric folding chair that brings him just above our low window sill. So I leave the chair there for him all the time even if it is not “fancy” furniture! Who cares? So long as our cat & the both of us watching him watch the world outside, all enjoy ourselves, eh? Thank you for feeding all the squirrels & birds! ❤❤❤
I got the cat tower from Amazon, I wanted one with a large comfortable bed on top so Kiara can enjoy watching the squirrels and birds nicely, but it was a little bit too low, so I added a platform under the tower to have it reach the window level nicely. And now it's perfect, she loves to watch the squirrels and birds for hours, and takes long naps there. 😺
WHOA! Did you see that? Around the 0:39 point, she gave a quick look into the house like, "Hmm, what else can I grab in there... sound system... toaster... duly noted." (resumes being adorable)

Awwwww, I was wondering why Jewel suddenly started frantically trying to cram as many nuts as she could in her mouth! She must have sensed that Huey was right behind her! Ohhhh, the new little baby is so adorable!! He took quite a giant leap to the top of the bush when George showed up. Bee found a cozy perch on the bush when Louie chased her away - good job, Bee! And hi sweet Kiara! 🥰
